Mike Johnson will finally get a chance to catch up on all the breaking news he has missed
Fox News election coverage has degenerated into an episode of "The Five" with Laura Ingram added in.
ABC election coverage has mentioned the Wizard of Oz about ten times, as they are on the way to sending their first Democratic Senator in 100 years

This all started on day 1 when he pardoned J6ers who beat cops and continued from there with one disgusting, corrupt thing after another day after day after day while Republicans in Congress either remained silent or agreed with all of it. Today they pay for that.

May this day result in an utter repudiation of Donald Trump and his party that has enabled his traitorous assault on America.
We have the means and technology to allow everyone in this country to vote without standing in line for more than 15 minutes, but over and over again in cities you see long lines. It is intentionally kept that way by Republicans

There is a wild asymmetry unfolding in the Michigan Senate race. Rogers has repeatedly and loudly said bigoted things about Islam and Muslims. Yet it is El-Sayed's every word that is parsed for the faintest hint of anti-semitism.

Nothing to see here, just Abdul El Sayed as a senior at his Michigan High School. He was Captain of the football team, the wrestling team, and the LaCrosse team. Looks and sounds pretty damn American to me! "All American" in fact.

One of the most successful deceptions of our time was getting many Americans to fear diversity more than racism, equality more than misogyny, democracy more than fascism, immigrants more than authoritarians, the poor more than corrupt billionaires, and empathy more than cruelty.

This is a new development. It's a credible female victim of Trump going on camera and stating the facts. We're beyond the silly Epstein file email nonsense.
I think the House is going to also release much more damaging videos and photos.
This is why Trump is preparing a nuclear drop on Iran.

Must watch... she's so brave.
“I was one of the child victims of Donald Trump.” Dr. Larissa Portnoff, a clinical psychologist in her 30s, says it began around age 8 and resumed at 16 and 17. She thought she’d escaped “a pedophile ring,” calls Trump “clearly a pedophile and dangerous,” and says someone made an attempt on her life after her report.
Her message: “We need to get the corruption to stop. We need to use our voices. We need to get Donald Trump out of office.” And to Trump: “If you think you’re going to intimidate me, Donald Trump, it’s not going to work. I'm not afraid of you.” Please share. #press #Trump #Corruption #Justice #Accountability #rape

Trump is now going after his former lawyer, Alina Habba, over her $50 million deal:
“I thought it was totally obnoxious and outrageous, and it’s not acceptable. Not acceptable at all.”
According to The New York Times, the family of Venezuelan billionaire Julio Herrera Velutini guaranteed Habba more than $50 million over four years, including bonuses. Trump pardoned Herrera just two weeks after Habba began working for his family’s company.
The Times also reported that Trump wanted Habba to donate part of the money to his presidential library.
We let super PACs run inappropriate and pathetic political attack ads across the country and then selectively demand that candidates publicly disavow something they may or may not have any connection with.
Watching a competent, main stream, ethical candidate team of Nebraskans like Lynn Walz and Ben Steffen get attacked by Pillen‘s attack ads and super PAC‘s with accusations of being "too radical" while we live with tariffs and imported beef and Putin diesel imports, and deficits?
THIS- Republicans backed super PACs spending money on a bogus party and candidate to attack Osborn and confuse voters. Every bit as ethically challenged as what happened in Alaska. This is the type of election issues we should be focused on.
Outside spending in the Nebraska Senate race has topped $65 million, including from three new Republican-affiliated super PACs formed to boost third-party candidates.

From the LJS "Nebraska could face a roughly $1.2B budget deficit next biennium". And who took a state budget surplus and turned it into this huge deficit? Yep. And guess who the good people of Nebraska are going to re elect? You got it. Don't complain about self inflicted wounds.
I have to chuckle at the report of Cryptocurrency giant Binance getting hacked by an elite North Korean crypto hacker group.
Cryptocurrency remains the method of choice by hackers who use ransomware against American companies and Hospitals.
An Omaha story. My wife’s step father was Henry Caniglia. Born in 1919 in South Omaha in the Italian part of town. Worked at produce stores in the old market area of Omaha as a kid. Joined the Army as a medic and landed on Utah beach. A week or two into the Normandy advance…
era, Henry was his "second family ". Henry tells the story that as a boy working in downtown Omaha he once approached Gaetano and told him he knew he was his father, Gaetano would not acknowledge it, and chased him off. Henry would never have a father. Henry and his sister Helen
