Could it be that a lot of people going on these marches genuinely have no idea what they are supporting, or do they consciously support this murderous, tyrannical regime and therefore the continued suppression of the Iranian people?

It troubles me greatly that Western leaders do not understand the mind and ideology of the Islamists and the purpose for their existence.  But to put it in a way that is relatively easily understood, they seek to conquer the world and impose their ideology on every human-being, and slaughter those who were not born as they were or who refuse to be slaves to their ways.  It is, in certain important ways, akin to the Third Reich, which is why so many of its spiritual and political leaders celebrate the Third Reich, the Nazis, and Hitler.  Today, they have found common cause with the Marxists in that they, too, seek to destroy Western civilization.  Thus, negotiating with the Islamist regimes (Iran, Qatar, and more) and terrorist organizations (Hamas and many others) is like negotiating with the Third Reich.  Appeasement, or peace in our time, failed in the past, and will fail again and again.    More later ...

I described exactly how this would unfold: xitter.cf/Parpanchi/status/20103… Now CNN is in Tehran, broadcasting a staged reality and repeating the Islamic Republic’s script. They went first. Others will follow. This is not journalism. It’s whitewashing a massacre. Iran will remember this.
Iran’s leadership is sending a defiant warning to the United States as tensions soar. @fpleitgenCNN reports from inside Iran, and speaks to residents on the streets of the capital Tehran.

Do not stop talking about Melina!!!
Three-year-old Melina Asadi was shot and killed in Kermanshah while walking with her parents during protests. After Melina was killed, her father was arrested and tortured by the regime and coerced into falsely blaming protesters for her death. In return, the regime handed over her body without requiring payment of the 1 billion toman (about $7,000) fee for bullet removal. This is a tyrannical regime with no limits, one that does not hesitate to kill a child in cold blood.

“You have ten minutes to cry,” The officer’s command to the couple as he revealed the corpse of their twentysomething daughter, gunned down in the streets of Isfahan. After searching morgues and hospitals for days when she didn’t come home from the demonstrations, they paid $5,500 in so-called “bullet money” demanded by the security forces and were driven five hours to another town where her body had been thrown into an old grave. thetimes.com/world/middle-ea…
