Just want to give a ton of thanks for Marvis for being such a fantastic artist to work with for Ape Solar's illustrations. This whole space would fall apart without the artists who can bring your vision to reality.

Ape Solar is a lifestyle. Now our customers can wear it! Tees and caps are live. Big shoutout to @Marvis_Quin for nailing the vision. He put more energy into that scene than we put into some permit packets. More pieces coming soon. Ready for Anything apesolar.com/merch

I'd like to formally and publicly apologize to Yuga and Figge for fading ApeFest this year. Won't make that mistake again.

Take your Mudwater collection with you wherever you travel. With the new @opensea mobile app, you can collect Mudwater cards, packs, and boxes, then join fellow Apes at the game tables on mobile web at mudwater.bayc.com/game/

I've been playing TCGs since 1994 when I ripped my first pack of Magic the Gathering. I was hooked for years and still have thousands of them and play with my kids. The big takeaways for me will always be bonding with friends and that First Edition sets are all grails. RIP

I’ve got some thoughts on Apefest, but I’ll let them marinate for a few more days and I’m sure the last thing anyone needs right now is one more Apefest hot take. But… I will say these two things as an early conversation starter. Who else is doing it better and who else is putting in this much work for their people? Also, the #1 thing I heard again was “I’m here to see my friends”. Getting to hang in a cool city with friends I’ve made from all around the world was so refreshing and reinvigorating. @CapetainTrippy @ape3809 and his bro Erik @Waabam_eth @0xBonzo @0xPieter_ @wonk1m @illaDaProducer @Eddie_ShoBiz @RidazLp2 @imjameshall the legend @0xQuit @Niffshockcollar +wife and @keltron_ @SteveKBark and many many more It was great to see familiar faces, link back up, talk about the kids and adventures, and look forward to things down the road. Missed a ton of people as well but we’ll catch up on the flip side for sure. I could tell the Yuga crew was beat. A ton of work and coordination went into it all and we’re all appreciative. @TheeHustleHouse and @spicytinaa seem to just be everywhere and are always a complete pleasure. @tigerisfine is the homie and always carries a wonderful smile. James is in his zone and on the grind and apparently Illa is just living his best life! 😂 Really really great to see you all. 🤝🤝 Also, glad so many people still recognize this old man rocking the Braves hat. 🤩 BAYC for life. (Not checking for errors lol)

So far my favorite part of Mudwater is that they didn't hype it, leak it, tease it, or announce it 3 years ago. They simply delivered something valuable and fun. Well done.

Wanted to thank all the members who reached out asking if we were ok. Unfortunately we did take the brunt of the storm so we have months of cleanup and recovery ahead of us. But the family is safe and sound. Hope everyone has a blast at ApeFest.

Low liquidity is about to be the best thing that happened to top NFT collections. Yeah, we flipped some in '21. But the real incentive back then was to buy, hold and participate. Then NFTs got turned into shitcoins: millions in bid liquidity, leveraged lending, and token rewards for volume. People were buying and dumping NFTs just to farm $BLUR. That worked out great. Look at @BoredApeYC… @rektmando and @osf_rekt dumped 71 Apes into Blur bids for $9M and the floor barely moved. Why? Farmers caught them. But farmers aren't holders. @machibigbrother's bids took a big chunk of those Apes, and a few days later he dumped 100+ Apes and Mutants right back into the next layer of bids. Every buyer was just the next seller. ~150 ETH at the peak, mid-30s by mid-2023. Holders didn't lose faith. It was a cascade. That's why sweeping was pointless for years. You'd lift a floor and flippers would dump right back into you. The farmers left a long time ago, but the machine stayed on. Thin volume alone didn't fix it because the exit and the leverage were still there. Now @blur_io frontend is going dark and Blend stops writing new loans. What's left are people who actually want to own the thing. The missing piece is royalties. Blur's gone. Your move, @opensea. We still have to bleed through the Blend loans unwinding. But after that, some collections can actually rally around buying and sweeping again, and it'll stick. Maybe then we will see whales like @AdamWeitsman @OGDfarmer and others step back in and sweep and we can get some life back into NFTs!
1/ The blur.io frontend will be deprecated on November 12, 2026. This deprecation only applies to the frontend. The Blur marketplace protocol will remain operational on-chain, and $BLUR will continue to control its fee switch.

Unrelated to Web3, but sharing anyway. Power’s out in our area for several more days. Whole area is dark. Not one Ape Solar customer lost power. Never felt better about what I do.

Yuga Board Member now owns more Pudgy Penguins than Apes.
This weekend I wanted to support one of my favorite collections during a difficult time. Decided to buy 117 Pudgy Penguins on chain to spread confidence for the community I have grown to love. Wanted to support this OG project that’s bringing happiness to many. The Huddle will stay strong. Return to Pudgy Penguins.
