The biggest hidden billing ambush in Indian summer retail: "Free Standard AC Installation." You buy a 1.5 ton split AC on sale for ₹25,000 to ₹34,000. The box clearly says: "Installation Included." 2 days later, 2 technicians arrive with a drilling machine. One glances at your wall, walks out to the balcony, and says: Sir, standard install only includes 3 meters of copper pipe. Your outdoor unit is 4.5 meters away. Extra copper pipe: ₹950/meter. Outdoor iron wall bracket: ₹1,500. Drain pipe extension: ₹350. Heavy electrical MCB switch: ₹850. You only wanted cool air. You end up paying ₹5,500 cash in hand before the compressor even turns on. "Free installation" in India is just a paid entry ticket for technicians to sell hardware at 300% markup. What did your "free" AC installation actually end up costing you?

MG Road has become a nightmare through the day . Area TI is on leave and his alternative TI Hauz Khas doesn’t care and @dcptsr hardly answers or responds as he waits for his second better posting. @HMOIndia @LtGovDelhi @CPDelhi South Delhi is the worst victim . Total Bhagwan bharose.
It’s even worse today. The whole of the MG Road comes to a standstill because of the daily chaos at CDR chowk.

The worst investment I did is buying a property of Godrej- big brand bigger, bigger fraud. Bought a property in 2023, they told we will get possession in 2026 mid, forget the possession, they are telling they want to add additional floors and that too 8-9 floors, without adding any extra plot to the project. From past 3 months the CRMs has bullied, disturbed, bribed and what not for us to sign the consent form to modify the RERA, as a person who works a full time job, this kind of harassment takes a toll on mental health, as now I am paying full EMI and possession not sure when they are going to give(maybe 2028(Rera date)), the constructions they have left in mid. For Phase1 owners also they are pushing the handover deadline. This is so disappointing! and now I am stuck, so whenever you decide to buy a property in Godrej, think 100 times before.

Now what England should do is sack the coach, send half the squad home, make some criminal allegations against a few players, and find some entirely new cricketers for their final match in Pakistan.

Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license? Is Ambani the real boss of India?
The government is more interested in protecting the interests of crony capitalists than of citizens

Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are … This is a crime against the people of India!
India needs @Starlink 🇮🇳 • 11,256 of India’s listed villages still lacked 4G coverage as of May 2026. • India had 1.093 billion internet subscriptions in March 2026, but only 440.87 million were rural. Rural subscription density was 48.31 per 100 people, compared with 126.80 in urban India. • BharatNet had laid over 850,000 route-km of fibre and made about 221,000 Gram Panchayats service-ready. However, its Points of Presence were reported operational at only 80,472 Gram Panchayats in June 2026. • Only 4.26% of India’s internet subscriptions were wired connections in March 2026. Starlink could give underserved communities another route to high-speed broadband. • Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India, according to SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Business Operations Lauren Dreyer, speaking at India Mobile Congress today. • Starlink says it has developed India-specific security controls designed to keep Indian user data within India. • Its satellite network could bring high-speed internet to remote villages, mountains and islands where extending fibre or mobile networks is difficult. • Better connectivity could help rural schools access online learning, clinics offer remote consultations and small businesses reach more customers. Starlink already supports education and healthcare in remote communities internationally. • Portable Starlink terminals have supported disaster response around the world. They could give Indian emergency teams backup connectivity when floods, earthquakes or storms damage ground networks. • Direct to Cell could also help ordinary 4G phones connect beyond tower coverage, subject to Indian approvals and mobile operator partnerships. • The government itself identifies difficult terrain, low commercial viability and infrastructure constraints as reasons for remaining coverage gaps. This is exactly where Starlink could help India reach more people. • India should complete the remaining clearances and spectrum allocation so Starlink can begin commercial service. • SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, said that Starlink is ready to help achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of 100% connectivity across India. She highlighted its potential to connect remote classrooms, support telemedicine and restore connectivity after disasters, adding, “With Starlink, people can get connected within minutes, not years.” India’s hardest-to-reach communities deserve reliable internet too.

A Son of #Manipur . A pioneer of the Indian Army. From Charangpat, Thoubal, Manipur, to the highest ranks of the Indian Army Lt Gen Dr. Konsam Himalay Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.) carved his name into history. He became the first Army officer from Northeast India to attain the rank of Lieutenant General, and the first military officer from #Manipur to rise to the ranks of Brigadier and Major General. From the icy heights of Siachen to Jammu & Kashmir, the LoC and the LAC, his career was forged in some of India's most demanding operational environments. During the Kargil War, he commanded 27 Rajput and was awarded the Yudh Seva Medal for his service. His story is bigger than military rank. A story of courage, discipline and determination. From #Manipur to the highest ranks of national service. Manipur’s son. India’s soldier. @KonsamHimalay 🫡

In politics, not just a year, even a single week can change everything. Who could have imagined last Thursday that slogans like these would be raised at Delhi's Rajiv Chowk?

Einstein's birthday, and Pi Day today. Because March 14 is written as 3.14 in the US, the first 3 numbers in the irrational number Pi. And what could be more irrational than thinking that, exactly 25 years ago, two batters could last through the whole day and lead India to one of the greatest ever test victories against the Australian juggernaut. March 14th, Einstein Day, Pi Day, & Dravid and Laxman Day!

We’re only a few days in, but 2026 already feels like a year of potentially momentous shifts and changes. Of course, much of the global news cycle has focused on developments in Venezuela, following the US intervention to remove dictator Nicolas Maduro from power. Toppling Maduro seemed like the easy part – almost too easy. Managing a just and peaceful transition to democracy and economic renewal is the hard part, and things are not looking great. But leaving all public muscle-flexing aside, Venezuela is still a sovereign nation, and those with a clear popular mandate to lead, notably the widely recognised winners of the rigged 2024 elections, must be given the opportunity to do so. Venezuelans deserve to be free and to prosper – on their own terms. Similarly, the US campaign to annex Greenland – whether by economic means or by force - has startled America’s allies, foreshadowing greater rifts to emerge in the coming months. It’s a move that threatens to unravel NATO and do irreparable damage to vital strategic relationships the US has spent decades to build. The truth is that President Trump already holds many cards: he can increase his US military presence in Greenland to Cold War levels if he’s inclined to do so, and there is openness by both Greenland and Denmark to deepen commercial ties with the US, including the extraction of natural resources. None of this requires a land grab like the one being bandied about now. Who treats a loyal ally like that? While the Greenland fracas is creating headlines, I wish the same attention were given to the wave of popular protests that have been spreading rapidly across Iran over the last few days. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians have been taking to the streets in frustration over the dreadful state of their nation’s economy and the crushing impact of soaring inflation resulting in dramatic cost-of-living increases. The discontent is reminiscent of the “Woman. Life. Freedom.” uprising spurred by the brutal police murder of Kurdish-Iranian Mahsa Amini in 2022, but it is also now a struggle for survival and dignity. Angrier than perhaps ever before, ordinary Iranians have had enough – of a government incapable of governing, and of a totalitarian establishment that seems to care more about regional power dynamics than about its own people. The corrupt and self-serving mullah regime, not known for empathy, nor for its economic prowess, is responding to the protests in the way it always does – with more repression and violence. As far as we know, the crackdown on demonstrators has already cost dozens of lives, likely even more. Yet the more Khamenei and his cabal prioritise self-preservation and the defence of an untenable status quo, the stronger this revolution will grow. I have no doubt that the masses in the streets, led and buoyed by a fearless generation of young women and men, will ultimately prevail. To paraphrase Rumi, one of Persia’s most beloved poets: Iranians know they were born with wings, and so they are no longer willing to crawl through life. We should use every opportunity to put a spotlight on Iran, amplify the voices of dissent and document the regime’s crimes.

#WATCH | Washington DC | "I think the US has understood for some time now that India has a very clear position that there will be no talks with a gun pointed at our head... The problem is that we will not deal with people who are pointing a gun at our heads. I mean frankly, if your neighbour unleashes his rot while as to bite your children and in fact to do worse to your children, and then says, let's talk. You think he's going to talk to him until he either unleashes those rockweers or locks them up in a kennel or puts them to sleep. It's as simple as that. You're not going to talk to people who are pointing guns at your temples. It's not going to happen," says Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on being asked if India is willing to talk to Pakistan and the US' position in this regard.
