But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Young people really aren't seeing that. They're seeing just a handful of companies that have an outsized influence on our economy and on our society"

Heads up, the city of Raleigh is actively encouraging drunk driving for football games. Leaving via rideshare is quite nearly impossible. Walked 2 miles for what I thought would be an easier pickup and waited 2 hours with 5 canceled rides because our city decided to close down every road entering for a half-capacity game. If you drove there and drunk drove out it’d take 5 mins to leave. My uber LITERALLY had to drive around the entire city of Raleigh to take the back entrance into Wade park. I’m actually infinitely more pissed off about that than the 41-3 loss. If I ever find out where our councilmen live I’m taping off their entire fucking homes with “road closed” signs
