many people don't know this, but before web3 I used to work for a savings focused Roboadvisor that later became a unicorn
the product was extremely boring, but super successful because of the low savings rates across the world (but mainly in Europe where it started)
and I think as a maturing industry we can learn about why it was successful and why we're not setting us up for success here
the main (and almost sole) user base was people older than 50 y/o - younger people's risk appetite is too high for a savings product (even more within the web3 sphere)
and honestly, I don't think UX is a problem to access these people - our savings product was pretty complex and quite bureaucratic
but that specific target group had lived in an era where your savings generated interest, so the financial literacy was there - and most importantly, the sense of trust was there (despite the savings products being more risky, the risk was fully transparent and still linked to a bank)
however, when we introduced investment products (mainly ETF portfolios), that financial literacy is what was lacking not only for that target group, but also for younger more risk seeking users
so, my advice if we want to make such crypto savings products successful is:
- target the right audience
- do it by optimising for trust building
- do it by both educating users and partnering with trusted legacy institutions

(de unos 120.52 millones a unos 122.15 millones).
En el mismo período, los cambios en el suministro de otros activos principales fueron:
$SOL: (Solana) creció aproximadamente un 66%, de unos 354 millones a unos 589.4 millones.
$XRP: (Ripple) el suministro en circulación creció aproximadamente un 27 %, de unos 49.83 mil millones a unos 63.1 mil millones (principalmente por desbloqueos del escrow, no por nueva emisión).
$ADA: (Cardano) creció aproximadamente un 10%, de unos 34.18 mil millones a unos 36,8–37,6 mil millones.
$BTC: (Bitcoin) creció aproximadamente un 4.96%, de unos 19,15 millones a unos 20,10 millones.
Después del Merge (PoW < PoS), la emisión de ETH cayó alrededor de un 90 %!
Combinada con el mecanismo de quema de EIP-1559, esto ha mantenido el crecimiento del suministro muy por debajo del de los demás activos mencionados.
