yet, the state of this generationally important technology is virtually unknown to those outside of a small community.
we're releasing a map (see below) to help the world understand the field -- the tradeoffs between contending technologies, top projects, etc.
when goated Google research colleagues left for OpenAI we thought "eh, it's too early, deep learning isn't there yet." We all know what happened next.
in tech you need to be early. Take this as your sign to be early on neurotech. It's one of the sickest technologies of our generation. It's going to work.

our key finding is that MMG can classify gestures with performance rivaling cutting-edge techniques like sEMG – and likely surpass sEMG with better sensors! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
