Apparently losing a bounty is part of the initiation 😂
@Justfreaqy said it.
@angry__pacifist echoed it.
A community pattern became a card.

One thing I love about 8 Ball Pool is how much more interesting matches become when you’ve got coins to lose 😂
Been thinking about how something similar could work with @nofoldgame’s CALL/FOLD mechanics someday.
Just exploring ideas. We’ve got a whole game to grow first 😂♠️

One interesting problem we discovered while building @nofoldgame ♠️
If someone closed their browser or lost connection for too long, they could lose their seat in the game.
So we changed how that works. Being offline shouldn’t mean you’ve left the table.
Now players can return to their cards and game progress.
Still learning how much goes into multiplayer games lol.

One thing our first NO FOLD playtest taught me is that making a game fun is just one part of it 😂♠️
Players loved the card combos and funny reactions, but we noticed some UX issues with onboarding, reconnection and game flow.
So we’ve been fixing those before adding more fancy interactions.
Still building and learning! 🚀
We are cooking! 🧑🍳🔥
Been building a reusable card component in @rive_app for @nofoldgame. ♠️
One card, four category themes, dynamic content, and interactive states for inspecting and selecting cards.
Everything is driven by a View Model and state machines.
Next step: bringing it into React and seeing how it behaves in the actual game.
Still cooking. 🔥
