“Follow the money” told you who had power in the 20th century.
“Follow the energy” tells you who will have it in the AI century.
AI is not software. AI is electricity turned into intelligence.
Data centers don’t follow speeches, regulation, or vibes. They follow cheap, abundant, reliable power.
So:
Where energy is cheap, AI concentrates.
Where AI concentrates, capital, talent, and political power follow.
Narratives come later.
Don’t follow the press release.
Don’t follow the stock ticker.
Follow the energy.

September's employee of the month never took a night off.
His name’s Viktor. He's the AI employee in my Slack & his whole job is hunting down the freaks who make accounts with my face & DM you about "investing." (REMINDER: that is NOT me. I’ll never randomly DM you about investing)
I used to search my own name & report ‘em one by one. You guys helped too (thank you!!). But they’d be back the next day with a new handle anyway.
So Viktor took the night shift. While I sleep, he searches X for accounts using my name or my photos, checks them against the ones we already know & drops the new ones in Slack with the report links lined up.
His September:
27 fakes found.
3 new ones in a single night.
0 reports sent without me. He finds them, I hit report.
Now I don’t have to do all this mind numbing searching myself & my mornings are back to shitposting!!

France’s public finances are under clear and persistent strain: debt stands at roughly 119% of GDP and continues to rise, the deficit remains above 5% of GDP, and French borrowing costs have moved above those of Italy despite Italy’s higher debt ratio.
Rising living costs are feeding large protests that recently turned into serious urban violence. The government has acknowledged security and intelligence failures that allowed the disorder to escalate.
At the same time, the fiscal pressure predates the latest unrest and markets are already reacting to both the budget trajectory and the street disorder.
In my view, the government is not merely struggling to restore order; it is tolerating a degree of chaos because the resulting political and financial stress strengthens the case for European support and further monetary accommodation.
Macron says that today’s shooting in Trappes was aimed at migrants and the first terror attack in French history against a group of people targeted because of their skin and religion.
He is naturally lying as there have been several such Islamist attacks in France in recent years which were carried out against Jews or Christians.
- 2012, Mohammed Merah attacks a Jewish school in Toulouse and murders a rabbi and 3 kids
- 2015, Amedy Coulibaly murders 4 Jews at the Hypercacher kosher supermarket in Paris
- 2016, Adel Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean storm a church in Normandy and murder the 85-year-old priest Jacques Hamel, by slitting his throat, and also critically wound an 86-year-old man.
2020, Brahim Aouissaoui storms a Catholic basilica in Nice and stabs 3 people to death.
Macron stated today:
“What happened today is a turning point. It is the first time there has been a terrorist act planned to kill our compatriots, our children, because of the color of their skin or their religion”
The fast-food industry experts have spoken! 👇
“Eat ultra-processed food, get sick, go bankrupt paying for treatment, balloon the national debt to fund Medicare, funnel billions of taxpayers’ dollars into the pockets of insurance CEOs, government bureaucrats, and food industry executives… and then die.”
What a brilliant business model! 👏
A large study finds no link between colorectal cancer and ultra-processed food, raising questions about what role these foods play, if any, in rising rates of the cancer among younger people. nbcnews.com/health/health-ne…

According to social media, the chaos unfolding in France 🇫🇷 has two explanations:
1. The police are too aggressive.
2. Far-left groups like LFI are fueling the unrest.
Two competing narratives, amplified by two different algorithms, shaping two different realities.
But both miss the bigger picture.
The cost of living is soaring—not just in France, but across Europe, the US, and much of the world.
Decades of monetary expansion since the end of the gold standard, accelerated dramatically since COVID, have contributed to the erosion of purchasing power.
And here's the uncomfortable question: Who benefits from the chaos?
History reminds us that major crises and wars—from 1914 to 1939—have enabled governments to expand their power, debt, and monetary intervention.
More chaos. More debt. More money printing.
Are we watching history repeat itself?

We need France to return to its texhno-capitalist roots
More nuclear, more compute, more aerospace, more AI, less bureaucracy

I think the european central bank (ECB) is stuck either way:
High rates: no liquidity, economy freezes, people struggle and go to the streets (like now in France).
Low rates: economy runs hot, inflation hits, life gets expensive and people go to the streets anyway (outcome of what happened during Covid in 2020-21)
There's no clean option left that keeps both the system and the cities stable.
What comes next is complete mayhem and chaos => the Fourth Turning.
