Great suggestions included here! I like the idea of grouping Ss into cohorts and providing ways for them to get comfortable with one another. Much like Ts work together in CLTs, Ss more than ever need a go-to person or group. And, make sync time special!!

Stopped watching a webinar this weekend when I saw this screen. I don't think our kids need rules the first day of school. They most likely also don't need to see officer clipart saying "stop." What words and images will our students see first? (Yes, I DMed the company directly.)
