I tried out @WisprFlow for about five seconds and immediately paid for an annual plan. But now AI voice dictation is kind of a commodity so I’m letting my annual plan expire. Probably going to replace it with Muse though I suspect I’m going to miss some of its niceties.

I have tried @WillowVoiceAI and it's good but not cheaper or better than @WisprFlow.

The lesson we learn again and again is that the educational establishment cares little for the education of children. @ehanford has done a great service to this nation with Sold a Story, and I hope she keeps going because there is much more story to be told.
In 1991, ABC’s Primetime Live visited Wesley Elementary in Houston, where Thaddeus Lott was proving what disadvantaged children could achieve with excellent instruction. 35 years later, his story deserves a new audience.

On the AI personal assistant front, here’s what I’m finding: I’m using Grok Bot more, Muse less, and Instinct not at all. Across the board, however, more companies are blocking the browser which greatly impacts utility.

I'm old enough to remember when we were complaining about Opus/CC and raving about GPT/Codex. I'm also old enough to remember when we were complaining about GPT/Codex and raving about Opus/CC. Which is to say, I'm more than five months old.

Dear @QuickBooks. I’m going to fire you if you continue prohibiting agents.

I’m now spending more on sandboxes and CI runners than I am on AI agent subscriptions!

I don’t care who you are or what you believe. You overstay your legal right to be here you get sent home and are not welcome back.
I have received a statement from DHS regarding Sam Sey: “On October 21, ICE arrested Samuel Sey, an illegal alien from Ghana, at the Columbus International Airport. Sey entered the United States legally in 2022 but overstayed his length of admission by over four years, in violation of our nation’s laws. Sey has no pending applications and accepted voluntary departure. He will remain in ICE custody until removed from the United States.   “We do not pick and choose which laws to enforce or where to enforce them.   “We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.” - DHS SPOX As I get more information, I will update.

I have been consistent about Sonny Dykes since the beginning. The CFP team was 100% Max Duggan plus a team Patterson recruited. Dykes was simply in the right place at the right time. Luckiest coach ever. It was never his time and it’s long past time to find someone new.

Amazing world we live in. I wanted a Mac app bar app that showed my running @namespacelabs sandboxes. ToldGrok Build to do it and ten mins later it was running with a nice N_ logo.

My problem with Erika Donalds has less to do with the fact that she used charter schools to personally enrich herself (she did), and more to do with the fact that she is a classical education grifter. Both are sins, but the latter offends me more.

I have a feeling this is going to be the meme of the weekend.
Today was my last day at @AnthropicAI. I spent over a year working on Claude Code and strongly believed in the mission. Unfortunately, during a routine refactor, Claude identified my position as redundant and eliminated it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is a satirical post. The author has not worked at Anthropic. It parodies real farewell posts today from Claude Code team members Thariq (@trq212) and Anthony Morris (@amorriscode), who did leave after working on the product. x.com/trq212/status/… x.com/amorriscode/st…

Alpha School is an apt name because it gets education wrong from the very beginning. Of course, so do most schools who are almost universally focused on the acquisition of skills. Skills are a byproduct of good education not its telos.

I want an always-on multiplex voice agent that can control Codex, Claude Code, Warp, Amp, Cursor, Copilot, and Grok Build. I want it to hang on my every word, have personality, and respond to any query at any time with millisecond latency. And I don’t want it to burn my tokens.

Turns out Amp has this.

I genuinely do not understand what is happening.
Yesterday was my last day at Anthropic. I created Claude Code on desktop because I believe everyone can be a builder. Every feature request and bug report we got from this community was a gift that impacted millions of lives. I’m eternally grateful for those gifts, the product wouldn’t be what it is without you. Anthropic is doing some of the most important work of our time. Contributing to that mission will forever be a career highlight for me. I never imagined I’d get to contribute to something so special in my lifetime. Walking away from my best friends, a product I poured my heart into, and the mission was the hardest thing I’ve done in my career. But now I have some free time for GTA VI. I'm already itching to get back to addressing all your feedback. I'll share what's next soon!

Anthropic is absolutely killing OpenAI right now. Anthropic has a better model, a better harness, and a better personal agent. The shifts are crazy.

Voice mode on @AmpCode threads is what I've been waiting for. It's like having a British pair programmer I can just talk to. I can do this all day!
