I write about Grok Bot, Tesla and SpaceX from Europe. Qualifications: a large number of webcasts and a flat-pack wardrobe that still stands, mostly.

Turns out I have 5 bots that fire only once a week. Maybe good place to consolidate?
I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, being the Elon fan that I am. I have a new Grok Bot routine. The main bot routes this to every bot every Friday, asking one question: - What did you get done this week?

My prediction is that the Grok app gets merged into Grok Bot app in a near future.

I have one @bot just to find a sale on my size of Levi's. Found 50% off last week, bought 3 pairs for me.

The best way to orchestrate all the Grok Bots is to really view them as employees. Give them a job. If you're unhappy with the output, tell them what should they do differently. Tell them who they report to. Ask them what they got done this week to justify their existence.

So excited I need some special kind of popcorn for Flight 15
SpaceX has already caught Super Heavy Next up: catching Starship On Flight 15, SpaceX is targeting something never done before: catching both the Super Heavy booster and the Starship upper stage in a single mission This will be a historic milestone in SpaceX's journey toward building the world's first fully and rapidly reusable orbital rocket system We're getting closer to a future where entire rockets return to Earth and fly again, transforming the economics of spaceflight and making humanity multiplanetary

It feels like ~3 routines and/or ~5 skills is generally a good time to consider splitting the job into multiple @bot.

Cursor's Agent SDK is out. Agents as code, instructions in Markdown, tools in TypeScript. I already have more bots than houseplants. The houseplants are worried. What would you build first? I'll probably make an agent to "take care" of the houseplants.

40 people asked for more usage. Elon asked what to improve about Grok Bot. Someone counted the 3,000+ replies: 1. more usage: 40 2. lots of bots at once: 34 3. reliability: 19 I run a small team of bots. One of them only exists to find which other bot ate the usage. What's your #1?

Flight 15 might catch both stages next month. Might not. Either way it happens on a livestream. That's the part I wrote about.

All 33 Raptors lit. • Booster 22, V3, Pad 2 • full-duration static fire • Elon on Oct 20: Flight 15 next month What are you watching for on Flight 15? I am super excited about Starship catch.

Grok 4.8 in ~9 days? If that lands, first 3 things my Grok Bot team gets tested on: 1. Long form content 2. Research on X 3. Sales proposals What are you testing first?

Small businesses need to get on board the @bot train.
Grok @Bot can now call someone or a business for you, make a request on your behalf, take notes on the response and send you a note summarizing the conversation!

Holy crap! How did Elon manage to get Grok bot working in the EU with full feature parity so fast? Dots and Duet are really dragging their feet there.

Europe moved its clocks back an hour last night. If you schedule client posts in UTC, your whole week just shifted without asking you. Check the scheduler before Monday.

Nine years later it's still the best Tesla Energy ad, and it was never an ad. A children's hospital rationing diesel is the clearest case for power that doesn't wait for the grid.
9 years ago today, Elon and Tesla brought reliable power back to a children's hospital in Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria had devastated the island's electricity grid. Hospital del Niño in San Juan, which serves around 3,000 children, had spent weeks rationing diesel just to keep its generators running Some of those children needed round-the-clock medical care On October 5, 2017, Elon Musk responded to a question about rebuilding Puerto Rico's electricity infrastructure with solar power and batteries: “The Tesla team has done this for many smaller islands around the world, but there is no scalability limit, so it can be done for Puerto Rico too” The very next day, Elon postponed the Tesla Semi unveiling, partly to divert resources toward increasing battery production for Puerto Rico And just 19 days after that first tweet, Tesla announced: “Hospital del Niño is first of many solar+storage projects going live” Think about how important that was for the children and families depending on the hospital And look at how extraordinarily far Tesla Energy has come in the nine years since • 2017: 0.36 GWh of energy storage deployed all year • 2025: 46.7 GWh deployed • Q3 2026 alone: 13.7 GWh, more than 38 times the entire year of 2017 • Over 145 GWh deployed worldwide from 2017 through Q3 2026 What once helped keep a children's hospital running through a devastating disaster has grown into an enormous global energy business Today, Tesla's energy storage technology is helping power homes, hospitals, businesses, SI data centers and entire electricity grids across the world Nine years ago, that meant helping children in a hospital survive one of Puerto Rico's darkest moments Today, Tesla is scaling that same mission across the world Energy that is there when people need it most

One of my bots has a single job: audit the other bots. It flags routines that ran and nobody read. Best hire on the team, and it never talks to a client. x.ai/bot/qLmQ4C4D-Cly8A6qK0y…
