Key points that warrant examination include: • On-chain records indicating that XDC masternodes, which appear to have been operated using customer funds, were resigned and the XDC was transferred via intermediary wallets to exchanges. • The shift in official explanations—from initially stating that XDC was stolen or that the staking system had been compromised (leading to customer XDC being locked) to later claiming that no actual XDC was stolen and that the losses involved inflated virtual balances swapped for BTC, ETH, and XRP. • The continued locking of some customers’ XDC even after this revised claim that XDC itself was not stolen. • Insufficient transparency regarding the timing, content, and status of any formal reports made to investigative or regulatory authorities following the incident. We request that an independent third party (with expertise in law, accounting, and/or blockchain forensics) review the consistency of on-chain data, internal records, and customer communications, and publish its findings. We also call on the XDC Network and its related parties to address their moral responsibility. Globiance was listed in the official 2021 roadmap and received positive mentions and endorsements from co-founders, yet the prolonged impact on users has significantly damaged community trust. Clarification of the current position regarding the previously suggested “rescue fund” and any further steps would be welcome. Their explanation? "To provide liquidity." Why would customer funds allocated for node staking be secretly unstaked and dumped onto exchanges under the guise of "liquidity"? More suspiciously, despite claiming an exploit by a "malicious third party," there is ZERO evidence of any police report, law enforcement investigation, or criminal filing.
