❌ Tomonobu Fujii has received a race ban and thus is forced to sit out both Round 3 and Round 8 of the #SUPERGT Motegi doubleheader finale.
Fujii has received 10 penalty points in the Driving Moral Hazard System, the exact amount required for a race ban, following a rear-end collision with the CARGUY Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO after the checkered flag at the previous Autopolis round, which also resulted in a 2-lap deduction penalty for D'station Racing.
Tsubasa Kondo, who has been running selected races with seven x seven Racing last year, will fill in for him in the D'station Vantage GT3.
The last driver to receive a race ban was Hisashi Wada in 2017.

Rookie Racing will be the first team to debut the GR GT3 official race. They will race in the 2 final rounds at Motegi. Rookie Racing has raced majority of the season with the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo.
The Eneos Rookie car will be called ENEOS X PRIME GR GT3 CONCEPT.

📢 Toyota's new GR GT3 is making its long-awaited race debut at the #SUPERGT Motegi doubleheader finale!
Announced by the team today, Rookie Racing will enter the Bridgestone-clad GR GT3 concept, driven by Hiroaki Ishiura and Tokiya Suzuki, in the GT300 class under special permission ahead of its global launch in 2027. The GTA can exceptionally accept cars to enter the class with the BoP determined by the GTA.
The special permission entails that the team won't be eligible for championship points or prizes even in the case of a win.
The announcement comes following a shakedown at Fuji Speedway earlier this month. The team used a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo until now. Rumors suggesting that the Akio Toyoda-owned team would be the first to race Toyota's new GT3 challenger go back to January, when they announced their participation in GT300.
