#Mizzou has had a somewhat rocky start to its 2026-27 campaign, but Jamier Jones has been great.
13 pts and 10 rebs (6 offensive) against SLU earlier, in just 19 minutes of play.
Still feels like Dennis Gates hasn't figured out how to unlock him, but Jones is just a gamer.

You cannot teach Dylan Mingo's hand-held coordination, ground coverage and instincts. He's so impressive on D and his connective passing skills are good as well

Kyshawn George has had a drastic Creation rts% leap, despite his college 22 TOV% w/ an offball role: 17 USG%. Yet, according to HALI, he was 99th %ile in the intersection of UA2%, AST/USG, 3par & 3p%, getting to the rim and playmaking at an outlier rate compared to other shooters

Stephen A Smith says the Knicks want to decline Donald Trump's White House invite—despite team owner James Dolan's insistence. So I sifted through voting records of players (and their families!) as well as coaches and execs to try and understand the team's lean. issa new [eyeblack].

Check out my break down of Miami's Shelton Henderson!
Henderson has one of the most intriguing prospect profiles in the class, given his overlap of size, strength, touch and athleticism and I'm willing to bet he will exceed expectations this season. ⤵️

Assertiveness is the top trait I want in rotation players. Hate players that fit in or just play their role; should always push the envelope and be “doing stuff”
Every time Jaylen Clark plays, everyone is very aware that they’re watching Jaylen Clark play and I admire that a lot

evergreen.
In a new poll, 15% of Americans said they believe between 1 and 5% of NCAA athletes are transgender.
14% think between it's between 6 and 25%.
Meanwhile, an NCAA spokesperson confirmed that the current number is "effectively" zero

If height was the only trait that matters in basketball, Justin Champagnie wouldn't be the rebounder he is. Desire, smarts and toughness matter, too. Champagnie has been one of the Wizards' most valuable players. Story in @TheAthleticNBA, free to read:

In light of Cayden Daughtry's season opener I wanted to put into perspective just how ridiculous his summer was, and how he compares to a few recent 1-and-done guards.
Although its a long ways until the '28 draft, Daughtry is right on pace to be in the league sooner than later
