Exciting stuff: brand-new Korean editions of "Eragon" volumes 1 and 2 are available from Dasan Books! 🐲
With a fresh translation, these editions bring the World of Alagaësia to a whole new generation of Korean readers. Cover art by the talented illustrator Yaon! 📚🖌️
I've known @DavidJohnButler for years. (Interviewed him way back when his first middle-grade book was coming out with Knopf.)
He's kickstarting a beautiful new set of hardbacks for the complete series of "Witchy War." Written as an alternate-history fantasy with real depth, it's worth checking out! 🧙♀️🪄

Yup!
Hey everyone, this is a bit of an odd share this week, but we thought we'd take the post opportunity to address some feedback we've gotten in the last couple of reveals for @paolini's THE INHERITANCE CYCLE Box Set featuring art by @AxelSauerwald ! We ARE reading your thoughts and comments, and we ARE (where appropriate) making some tweaks to things we missed!
This time around, we have one thing we are changing, and one thing we aren't!
1. We are *not* changing the color of Nasuada's dress! You guys are correct, she IS described as wearing a dress of specific other colors in the book, but going with red was a deliberate choice discussed with all involved (Christopher included!) to work best with the tone and composition of the scene!
2. We *are* changing Thorn's tail to have indications where Galbatorix would have regrown it! It will have some markers to be more accurate to the book!
Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and feedback! Keep them coming, and I hope you're looking forward to the box set as much as we are! February, hopefully!
Started watching #AlienRomulus The composer's last name is Wallfisch.
WALLFISH!!!
Ahahahah! Love it.
Cool!

What are some of the pitfalls of story adaptations? I dug into that at Dragonsteel Nexus: what happens when things start getting cut or changed? 📽️📚✍️

lol.
You ever have those moments where you stumble on something really really really funny, but like, only if you are into this little niche category at a degree that probably is slightly unhealthy, and you want to share that with someone who would get it, then realize there is no one in your life like that?
Well, this feels like one of those moments for me. So I'm sharing it here.

First snow of the year! Woo-hoo! I'm really hoping we have a proper MT winter. Worried about the effects of this monster El Niño, though.
