When I made my deconversion, this was my wake up call.
Learning about Paul and the fact that he never knew Jesus and only saw him through visions, hallucinations and dreams was a real big eye opener. We’re supposed to take a Jewish man’s word for all of this. People just take the word of Jewish authors from 2,000 years ago in the Middle East as truth. It’s really mind blowing to me.
When you give humans the ability to speak for God they become God.
Romans 3:1–2 (KJV), written by Paul:
“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.”
The oracles of God refers to God’s revealed words or divine revelation entrusted to the Jewish people. The Jews were entrusted with God’s revelations.
Such nonsense to think the Jews are trusted with the word of god.
