BREAKING: Flávio Bolsonaro has reportedly fled Brazil for the U.S. two days after losing the presidential election to Lula, according to allies cited by Folha de S.Paulo.
His flight is expected to land within hours, although his whereabouts remain unconfirmed.
The senator allegedly traveled through Argentina after a Supreme Court judge ordered him to surrender his Brazilian and Italian passports.
He faces two criminal investigations and will lose his parliamentary immunity in February.

Brazil has some very interesting election laws
-People can vote as young as 16
-Voting is mandatory unless you are illiterate or over 70. Blank votes are permitted
-Despite requiring everyone to vote they hold elections on a single Sunday
-They banned corporate campaign donations & instead provided taxpayer funded airtime

Lula won by 4.4 million votes.
The number of votes cast after the polls reopened was under 36,000.
Anyone who tells you that this is why Lulu won or that it delegitimizes the outcome is pushing a completely fake narrative.

Im buying this weakness. Battery sales may have slowed a little, but still only a small percentage of overall #lithium demand, few percentage points.
Big driver is still ev sales and they've continued to accelerate and outpace last year...

Flávio Bolsonaro wants Brazil’s election annulled because, he claims, Lula “changed the rules halfway through the game” by extending voting hours.
There’s just one rather inconvenient detail. Bolsonaro’s own campaign ALSO requested an extension!
His request covered specific areas, while Lula’s was nationwide, but both wanted voting hours extended.
Now, having lost by 4.4 million votes, he wants the result overturned over a measure his own campaign supported.
Quite extraordinary.
