The BJP will celebrate veteran leader and former deputy prime minister LK Advani’s 99th birthday at its national headquarters on Sunday, with a hawan and prayers for his long life and good health.
Advani, born on November 8, 1927, will enter his 100th year. BJP president Nitin Nabin and Union minister Piyush Goyal will address the gathering in the presence of his daughter, Pratibha Advani.

Russia puts Tsitadel air defense system on wheels in new upgrade
Russia’s Tsitadel anti-aircraft artillery system has received a mobility upgrade, with its combat module, radar and optical detection equipment mounted on a truck chassis, Russia’s state corporation Rostec said.
🔸The new configuration will enable rapid deployment to sites requiring protection against aerial threats and give mobile units greater operational flexibility.
🔸Rostec says the system can engage various types of drones and cruise missiles, using smart ammunition with controlled detonation and an advanced fire-control system.
🔸The manufacturer claims its technology significantly reduces the number of rounds needed to neutralise targets.
