A lot of people are calling this a bluff but I’m not sure this statement is mutually exclusive with the package that’s rumored to be out there. Depends on that forward to be named but just seems like a lot of quantity with not much upside IMO
I had a feeling this was the case, but Sunny Mehta outright said it in a recent interview with NHL dot com:
“Because there is randomness at the position, I’m reluctant to invest significant assets there instead of in areas where the results may be more predictable.”

The tools required to make a sophisticated visualization used to act as a kind of bullshit gatekeeper. A plot alone could make you interested in what someone was saying. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. Now it’s almost the opposite. The uglier the plot, the more I trust it.
