Ayer escuché un dicho en una serie que me pareció fabuloso "not my circus, not my monkeys" y q obviamente tradujeron horrible como "no es mi problema". Me gustaría tener el equivalente en castellano.

I think the most satisfying thing about reading a book is watching the left side get thicker and the right side get thinner
¡Qué viva el sincretismo, y el ser agnóstico para poder entender los beneficios de las religiones sin las ataduras de su control!

the thing abt “men aren’t allowed to cry” is that women aren’t really allowed to either. women get mocked and berated for crying, and their momentary tears are used to justify their exclusion from “serious” workplaces, environments and activities

Getting diagnosed with autism at 34 is crazy because apparently I thought pacing around my house while playing the same 12 seconds of a song 47 times was just a normal human coping mechanism

It is very easy to spot the women that think being married to a man puts them on a pedestal above unmarried women.
La reacción del profe 😻
I sent a nude to my professor instead of my boyfriend and his response was worse than silence
The text said: "Won't affect your grade. But you should be more careful with your contacts."
That's what my art history professor sent me at 10:47 PM on a Tuesday after I sent him a full frontal nude that was meant for my boyfriend. Full. Frontal. Tits, stomach, the landing strip, one hand pulling my underwear down, taken in my bathroom mirror with the good lighting and the clean counter and I'd been proud of it for about fifteen seconds before I looked at the sent folder and felt my soul leave my body through my feet.
His name and my boyfriend's name are one letter apart in my contacts. ONE LETTER. And autocomplete chose chaos.
I stared at his response for a long time. "Won't affect your grade." That implied he'd looked at it long enough to recognize me as a student. "But you should be more careful with your contacts." That was a warning. Or advice. Or a door being held exactly half an inch open, not enough to walk through, not enough to ignore.
I typed "oh my god I'm so sorry that was meant for someone else" and deleted it. I typed "please delete that" and deleted that too. I typed "I am literally going to drop out" and deleted that.
