Judith Curry of GA Tech is making her own stand against the Climate™️ Cartel. Judith Curry (also known as Judy Curry), a climatologist and former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. reason.com She resigned her tenured faculty position effective January 1, 2017 (technically a retirement for pension purposes; she requested Emeritus status and is now Professor Emerita). She announced it on her blog Climate Etc. in a post titled “JC in transition.” judithcurry.com Stated reasons • Growing disenchantment with universities, the academic field of climate science, and scientists. • She wrote that a deciding factor was that she “no longer know[s] what to say to students and postdocs regarding how to navigate the CRAZINESS in the field of climate science.” Research, funding, publications, hiring, committee appointments, and recognition were rewarded mainly if aligned with directions approved by a “politicized academic establishment.” This created a tension between scientific integrity and career survival for young researchers. reason.com • Broader concerns about the politicization of the field, pressures to conform, and the difficulty of open debate on uncertainties. Curry had long been a prominent critic of aspects of the dominant consensus on catastrophic anthropogenic global warming, emphasizing uncertainties, natural variability, model limitations, and the risks of overconfident policy based on incomplete science. This made her a target of criticism from some colleagues and activists. She had published extensively (around 186 journal articles and two books by then) and previously chaired the department. reason.com She shifted focus to the private sector, co-founding/expanding Climate Forecast Applications Network (CFAN) with Peter Webster. The company applies weather and climate data, forecasts, and scenarios to real-world decision-making and risk management (e.g., for agriculture, energy). She viewed the private sector as potentially more “honest” for work in a politicized field when one is one’s own boss. She continued blogging, writing, and professional work outside academia. linkedin.com Coverage at the time (e.g., Reason, E&E News, others) highlighted her resignation as tied to the politicized environment in climate science. She has continued to comment on climate uncertainty, risk, and policy in subsequent years (including a 2024 note that leaving involved a substantial pay cut relative to her university salary).
We now see the full extent of preplanning and empire-building that went into the United Nations' global warming campaign. It was all behind the scenes. Today, the UN has a workforce of roughly 190,000 and an annual budget of $3.45 billion. It has become a vast self-managing, self perpetuating bureaucracy - arguably the largest non-governmental network in the world. The UN had been laying the groundwork for an environmental crisis for decades before it was finally announced in 1988. The UN took control of the World Meteorological Organization in 1951, transforming it into a specialised UN agency. The WMO operates with an annual budget of approximately $138.7 million and has a staff of 350 to 400. The WMO bridges the gap between raw meteorological data, international political agendas and global news media - linking thousands of land stations, ocean buoys, aircraft and satellites. While its stated role is to share critical weather and water data, this massive infrastructure has been effectively co-opted into a public relations framework. Consequently, the world has been bombarded with weather hysteria for almost 40 years. Mainstream news outlets routinely prioritise speculative, worst-case climate models over empirical observations - like 'rain bombs' - maintaining a permanent state of crisis designed to shape public compliance. The information gathering agency, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, runs the scientific arm. It operates with a core secretariat of just 15 staff members and an annual budget of roughly $12.5 million. The IPCC was established 38 years ago, ostensibly as a neutral body to gather objective scientific information on climate. In reality, the IPCC became the driving force behind the greatest environmental and social upheaval in modern history. Highly politicised from its inception, it was founded entirely by UN agencies - the WMO and the UN Environment Programme. This gave the UN absolute control over the global climate agenda and funded what has become the largest propaganda campaign in history. The UN has also run annual fund raising COP summits around the world for 30 years. They have become junkets for the rich and privileged. The IPCC did not recruit independent scientific staff; instead, its administrative apparatus actively sponsors and selects studies that supported the carbon dioxide hypothesis. Research raising questions or doubts are minimised or discarded. Critics find their studies starved of funding and publishers, while some even faced threats to their academic tenures. Local weather outlets and national agencies now operate inside an ecosystem heavily influenced by these overarching, high-alarm targets, broadcasting continuous warnings of 'global boiling', catastrophic sea-level rise, and 'Code Red for Humanity' - with UN leadership acting as the chief amplifier. This environment birthed foundational, highly charged studies designed to lock in future warming projections. For decades, the UN promoted only extreme scenarios. A prime example is the IPCC's reliance on high-end warming trajectories - such as projections warning of up to a 5.5-degree temperature rise - predictions so extreme that even mainstream scientists have increasingly conceded they are implausible. Armed with a crisis of its own making, the UN called for the rapid dismantling of hydrocarbon fuels - coal, oil, and natural gas - the very energy sources that lifted humanity out of stagnation and powered the Industrial Revolution. Almost every aspect of modern civilisation, from transport networks to industrial manufacturing, relies entirely on these dense, inexpensive and reliable energy sources. Climate management bears no relation to the UN’s foundational charter of resolving international conflict; it's a textbook case of bureaucratic mission creep. The sheer complexity of this UN machinery, combined with an aura of technical authority, is precisely what insulates it from public scrutiny.

The amount of money the Progressives have is just enormous. Here’s Eric Holder talking about multiple wargames and tabletop exercises at his BigLaw firm (I never heard back from some commenter who piped up to say there are conservative BigLaw firms. Yes, they’re featured in a movie called “Searching for the Unicorn). The exercises are so realistic he says, that they have network anchors break into the game with breaking news for the game participants to react to. None of this comes cheap.
Conspirators' Coalition? Holder's Real-Time Roleplaying with Activists! Vote like the country’s survival is at stake because it is. The war game session included a group of activist groups and experts from civil society. Former Attorney General Eric Holder discussed conducting war games or tabletop exercises to prepare for and combat potential election interference. These exercises involve strategizing against various scenarios, such as illegal ballot rejections, seizure of cast ballots, the deployment of the military, or misinformation campaigns. Holder worked with Hillary Clinton to conduct a tabletop exercise at his law firm's office. The session included a group of activist groups and experts from civil society. Holder has also engaged in similar exercises with members of Congress on Capitol Hill, specifically coordinating with Congressman Joe Morelli of New York, who was designated by Leader Hakeem Jeffries to lead these efforts. To increase the realism of these war games, they incorporated roleplaying elements, such as individuals acting as news anchors and presenting unconfirmed reports on screen to test how the group would respond in real time. Within their war games and tabletop exercises, participants considered the scenario of the President invoking the Insurrection Act to intervene in an electoral setting. Former Attorney General Eric Holder noted that while this falls into the outer reaches of potential threats, they have thought about and prepared to litigate and figure out ways in which they can push back on such an action. Holder further clarified that using such powers in peacetime during an election would be unprecedented, stating that really is using powers there that have never been used before in peacetime and with regard to an electoral setting.

Eric Hoffer wrote this article about Israel almost 60 years go. It reads like it was written yesterday. "The Jews are a peculiar people: things permitted to other nations are forbidden to the Jews. Other nations drive out thousands, even millions of people and there is no refugee problem. Russia did it, Poland and Czechoslovakia did it, Turkey threw out a million Greeks, and Algeria a million Frenchmen. Indonesia threw out heaven knows how many Chinese-and no one says a word about refugees. But in the case of Israel the displaced Arabs have become eternal refugees. Everyone insists that Israel must take back every single Arab. Arnold Toynbee calls the displacement of the Arabs an atrocity greater than any committed by the Nazis. Other nations when victorious on the battlefield dictate peace terms. But when Israel is victorious it must sue for peace. Everyone expects the Jews to be the only real Christians in this world. Other nations when they are defeated survive and recover but should Israel be defeated it would be destroyed. Had Nasser triumphed last June he would have wiped Israel off the map, and no one would have lifted a finger to save the Jews. No commitment to the Jews by any government, including our own, is worth the paper it is written on. There is a cry of outrage all over the world when people die in Vietnam or when two Negroes are executed in Rhodesia. But when Hitler slaughtered Jews no one remonstrated with him. The Swedes, who are ready to break of diplomatic relations with America because of what we do in Vietnam, did not let out a peep when Hitler was slaughtering Jews. They sent Hitler choice iron ore, and ball bearings, and serviced his troop trains to Norway. The Jews are alone in the world. If Israel survives, it will be solely because of Jewish efforts. And Jewish resources. Yet at this moment Israel is our only reliable and unconditional ally. We can rely more on Israel than Israel can rely on us. And one has only to imagine what would have happened last summer had the Arabs and their Russian backers won the war to realize how vital the survival of Israel is to America and the West in general. I have a premonition that will not leave me; as it goes with Israel so will it go with all of us. Should Israel perish the holocaust will be upon us."

This is the most antisemitic thing I have ever seen in America. If Republicans ran this ad, the Jewish community no rt would erupt in spasms of indignance. This is the Democratic Party that 70% of Jews believe in more than their own religion.
This is one of the most comical ads this election cycle. Yes, Americans are chatting at the grocery store about how they can’t buy groceries because their tax dollars “go to Israel” 🙄 😂 nevermind the fact that Israel has invested 100% of military aid in the U.S. economy since Oct 7, and has also purchased over $1 billion *additional* in arms, according to DoD. Federal military aid is also prohibited from being spent on anything other than U.S. arms, so the line about healthcare is even more comical. El Sayed and his Islamist fans like Cenk Uygur want and expect American voters to be so stupid they never check. Not only is this ad insane, conspiratorial, and antisemitic — it is also flat out false. El Sayed isn’t for the people of Michigan, he isn’t even for America. He is for the Muslim Brotherhood.

I've been cranking all day on this. Some things are so important that they need to be explored in depth, and in real time. The shocking revelations from Data Republican regarding the plot to overthrow our Constitution is such a thing and now is such a time. We are facing a color revolution. This article explains how color revolutions have worked overseas in the past at the hands of the CIA and USAID, and how those now ex-USAID employees, now ensconced in well-funded NGOs, are currently using the same tactics against our own nation. It's a long article, almost 2,500 words. If you care about this, please read. It's a very complex set of concepts, and takes more than a few words to explain adequately. Thanks.

Those living in Cities and States controlled by The Democratic Party may soon enjoy this expression of humanity on their own J Street.
J Street is going on offense. With a record 200+ endorsements and our largest-ever Super PAC campaign, we’re taking on AIPAC-backed Republicans in key battleground races to help win a pro-democracy majority in Congress and fight for the humanity of all people. Give it 20 years, folks. 100 years ago it was "Jews." Today it's anyone to the right of Mao. We have a society comprised of those who build and those trained to "mooch" (see Rand, Ayn) and most recently, seize from those who build. First solution is to break the cartels and establish competitive accreditation organizations. That should be a political priority, starting with the ABA and State Bar Associations. The builders in the next era will bypass the moocher fortresses and educate/train their own. A parallel system and a parallel culture. One based much more on merit and productive contributions. As in California, Illinois and soon NY, those who can will move elsewhere. The productive wealth will move with them. Perhaps I'm an optimist. wsj.com/business/palantir-th…
Cornell has long been criticized as an academic echo chamber with few conservative and libertarian professors. Now, the faculty has completed a self-study and found...wait for it...that there really are no concrete measures needed to address their overwhelming ideological bias. jonathanturley.org/2026/10/2…

Replying to @DataRepublican
Some of these people need to update their SF 86 form. "Have you EVER been a member of an organization dedicated to the use of violence or force to overthrow the United States Government, and which engaged in activities to that end with an awareness of the organization's dedication to that end or with the specific intent to further such activities?"

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 1: THE PLAN 🚨 I am working on gathering all the documents. Now, here's something to understand about the "democracy" and protest ecosystem: almost nobody knows the 'grand plan' so to speak. They simply agree to play a role. For example, 99% of people breaking stuff on the streets believe they're doing it out of an organic uprising. They don't see that the police have been ordered to stand down. They don't see that legal services have already been arranged for them. They don't see that foundations are paying for their bonds. Similarly here, governors aren't participating in a pact to destroy the Constitution. Governors simply have agreed to push back on the Insurrection Act. The effect is the same: the governors end up playing a role in a grander plan. I call this "shared epistemology" in my book Unelected. Motivations differ, people rarely agree to the big evil supervillain framing, but incentives all converge in the same end goal. No Kings might not agree to explicitly tear down the Constitution, but they nonetheless work with DSA and will turn out millions of people if the right phone call is put in. Here is one articulation of the plan - and crucially, since then, they have put many NGOs in their places to execute their proper role at all levels when the time is right. Many more coming.

The Civil Resistance, Blocking and Lawfare "Movement" on record. Yes, they were recorded in their "safe space." Wondering if this is planned sedition or insurrection? Here from the CIA/State playbook:
🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE 🚨 Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution. Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone. The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T. R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that. R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative. Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A. It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth. You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to. Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants. As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them. Important to understand: The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

$4.69 for gas in Atlanta today, even with the gas tax suspension from @GovKemp, which at least keeps it under $5.00. ☹️

For the last four years, I’ve built relationships across the aisle and in communities around the state to do the job Georgians entrusted me with to the best of my ability. And I have delivered. That’s why leaders from both parties are supporting my campaign. I’d be honored to earn your vote this November.

I don’t know what happened in this particular incident, but I can tell you there are core cybersecurity principles that dramatically reduce risk: - Make sure all your OT systems are off of internet facing connections. - Change default passwords to be both 1) complex and 2) unique to each system. -Monitor for unusual digital activity and - Put incident response plans in place and practice them. Be brilliant at the basics.
BREAKING: 🇫🇷 A major cyberattack has hit supermarket refrigeration systems across France, reportedly causing fresh and frozen food to spoil after hackers remotely manipulated temperature controls. According to BFMTV, the attack began overnight from Sunday into Monday, targeting older versions of refrigeration-control software supplied by Danish company Danfoss. The attackers allegedly exploited the systems’ defrosting function, forcing refrigeration equipment to heat continuously instead of keeping products cold. Temperatures were reportedly set as high as 50°C, destroying entire stocks of food within hours. Several major supermarket chains have been affected, including Intermarché, Super U and E.Leclerc. Metro stores and independent businesses, including butcher shops also have been impacted. Around 150 Intermarché stores are reportedly affected, according to industry sources cited by BFMTV. The full number of affected locations remains unclear. The financial damage is already significant. In Haguenau, Alsace, an Intermarché store reportedly lost its entire frozen-food stock, worth approximately €50,000. A nearby Super U allegedly had to discard both fresh and frozen products, with losses estimated at €220,000. An E.Leclerc store in the same town was also affected, although its losses had not yet been calculated. The combined losses reported at the Intermarché and Super U stores in Haguenau alone amount to around €270,000. Nationwide damage could reach several million euros. Intermarché reportedly confirmed the incident in an internal communication, warning that several stores had suffered losses of frozen products. Coopérative U also acknowledged the attack and established crisis teams to assist affected stores and coordinate with refrigeration specialists. Technical investigations are ongoing, and the full extent of the damage has yet to be established. Authorities and companies are still working to determine the full circumstances of the attack. The identity of the perpetrators has not been confirmed.
