My wife and I lost 4 pregnancies, the longest at 11 weeks, and then out of the blue she died. 5 days in hospital and she was gone. Consequently when I say I’m not afraid of anything anymore it’s not bravado. Not a single thing frightens me. It’s not as cool as it sounds

Still here in case anyone was wondering. Not the year I was hoping for. Been unwell for the past 6 months and it’s flummoxed doctors. Possibly have a diagnosis now. Have to wait and see. We keep trying to move forward I guess

Two party political systems simply don’t work. Despite how much they may hate each other, they will work together to maintain control. Zero accountability and zero options for voters. It’s why so many voters are disengaged in two party systems and simply don’t vote.

2 years ago today. Where has the time gone my love? It also would have been our 4th wedding anniversary and that is what I choose to remember today. The happiest, most content, most joyful day of my life. Loving you, being your husband, is my greatest achievement.

World politics have become so polarised that governments can now be openly corrupt, right in front of people’s eyes, and it’s explained away by saying ‘if the other side got in, it would be worse’. What are we doing? Politicians used to be accountable to the people.
