I'm proud to stand with our entire Central Texas state delegation in urging Austin to pass Cap and Stitch. Reconnecting communities is how we right historic wrongs, cast a vote aligned with our values, and build a city worthy of our future. Let’s lead.

Congress Ave will be a north-south workhorse for travel by bike and scooter in central Downtown, with no other fully protected bikeway available for blocks in either direction (blue/green). Let's make sure we get a fully protected bike lane in the CAUDI redesign!

An under-reported part is that the City Council expanded the Commercial Vehicle Parking Program from Downtown to citywide, which allows unloading in a general travel lane if there are 2+ in that direction. This will create 1000s of new unloading spaces for delivery drivers!
Austin City Council has approved a rule making it illegal to park in a bike lane. Thursday's unanimous vote means violators will be ticketed and fined. Fees could range from $50 to $300. l8r.it/dHkz
