Oh I didn’t know not passing this will make college men’s soccer go extinct. At least the women’s game will survive the apocalypse you’re predicting 🤦‍♂️

Will a subset of men’s college soccer leave the NCAA to form its own governing body/create a new college soccer league?

Taylor people in College Sports are allowed to have an opinion on college sports- even if it flies in the face of what you think is best There are many of us who see a major risk in this change, and blindly saying "this is the way" without facing others concerns is troubling

Let me get this straight... • College soccer coaches want a split season, playing in the fall & spring. • MLS is shifting to a fall to spring schedule, playing outdoors when half the country is cold and rainy and snowy. And how do those changes help the sport?

Congratulations on winning the most ignorant thing ever posted on x. I’d call you clueless but that would be insulting to clueless people

Through this process I’ve learned so much about the role of the SID and how much I am quite certain they should never be involved in deciding the strategic direction of collegiate sports.

I, and I'm sure others, would be willing offer you a week of being an SID during the spring season and you can personally see how "soft" we are.

The one thing I have learned about the uproar from SID’s that cover Men’s Soccer may be the softest individuals in college athletics. No wonder sports journalists are who they are.

Serious question because my memory is lousy, how did this start? Fire a coach, pay the rest of his contract, fair. Pay him sacks of cash to go away? Makes no sense

Mike Norvell will be owed $50.3 million, which is subject to offset and mitigation. Per @aadelsonESPN, he just informed the team of his dismissal.

Sorry, I completely disagree. The proposed model will strain our overworked support staff. It will add to our budget challenges due to travel and indoor facility rental. And who is asking for outdoor soccer matches in the Midwest in February?! I ask D1 ADs to join me at Club 241.

With about one week left in the effort to rescind the D1 men’s soccer model, please read my updated statement below.

This moment from Joe Davis deserves more recognition. In the biggest swing in Brewers history he paid tribute to Bob Uecker on Cooper Pratt’s home run. “Get up…get up…get outta here…gone!" was a fantastic tribute.

Let's just shut down college sports. Entitled kids (entitled by their parents) paying off their dumbass money hungry attorneys want the system to end. Time to wave the white flag.

An eye-raising new lawsuit filed this evening: two former and one current NCAA Division III athletes filed suit against the NCAA over Division III rules barring athletic scholarship, claiming that the restriction amounts to illegal price fixing under antitrust law.

Nerdy SID question Since Texas and Oklahoma always play at a neutral site, do the two schools spilt game management duties? Do you rotate year to year? My desire for unimportant information is getting the best of me

To sum up the two big stories going through SID Twitter/X: maybe we can have the AI SIDs and AI trainers and AI event staff run all the spring men’s soccer games.
