Seems pretty notable that despite all of the pivots to AI from miners, hash rate for bitcoin is quietly almost back at record highs

How long can they keep the Ponzi going? 👇

One day these collectibles of bitcoin_apex will retire my entire bloodline
Good day. I hope you’re all doing well. Yes, I am alive. This is my first post on X after a six-month hiatus. A lot has happened in my personal life as well as the Bitcoin universe. I’ve received many messages asking if everything is okay: I’m doing fabulous and I had the time of my life this summer. Half a year ago I spontaneously decided to step back from social media and from drawing. At a certain point I lost interest in the usual Bitcoin discussions here—Bitcoiners named in the Epstein Files, endless excitement over Michael Saylor buying more Bitcoin, or hardware wallet provider issues that rightly raised questions. It all no longer put me in a positive frame of mind to keep following what’s going on. I asked myself what the greatest long-term benefit of understanding and holding Bitcoin really is. I concluded it is about “buying back” one’s lifetime and filling that time freely—without compromises, restrictions, or outside influence. Under the current debt-based system this privilege is denied to almost everyone. The system forces constant work, promotes manipulation and numbed consciousness, fuels career and ego drives, or simply requires people to pay bills month after month. I experienced this modern exploitation for 10 years in retail, where personal interests, curiosity, and dreams barely had room because there was no time for them. Through long-term Bitcoin holdings combined with self-employment as a Bitcoin artist, I could for the first time spontaneously bring ideas to life that require time, proper planning, were quite costly and stepping outside of comfort zones is mandatory. Over the past five months I hiked nearly 1,500 kilometers across six countries and completed an 8,000-kilometer road trip through Norway, Sweden, and Finland. This included 500 km in the Swiss Alps, 600 km from Germany to Venice through the Italian Dolomites, and 200 km in the rugged Scandinavian landscapes. I spent weeks and months hiking every day and sleeping in a new place in nature—whether at 2,500 meters in the Alps or at 200 meters in the marshy Swedish fjäll. That sense of aliveness is, for me, what makes professional independence and Bitcoin so desirable. Bitcoin itself is not freedom. Freedom lies in living and experiencing the moment. Bitcoin can be a powerful tool for feeling life more intensely—without the distractions, disinformation, and numbing of the senses that prevent self-determined living. Even though I love drawing Bitcoin and the themes that surround it, experiencing life, forming memories, discovering, and getting to know myself matter most. These months of long-distance hiking grounded me. I missed a great deal in the Bitcoin world and global events—and I am grateful, because if I hadn’t, I would have missed something else: my own life and being in the moment. However, I feel the desire to draw again. It is part of who I am and does not feel like work. It is a calling. Drawing has fascinated me since childhood and will most likely continue until I am old. You can continue to look forward to hand-drawn Bitcoin Apex pencil art exploring the vast topic of Bitcoin! Many thanks to everyone who is looking forward to it and continues to take an interest in my creative work.

Bitcoin’s CAGR is ~64% over 10 years, ~38% in the Bitcoin Standard Era, and 16% over one selected peak-to-peak period. None is a forecast. Derivatives can amplify buying as well as selling, making them a potential accelerant, not an inevitable drag.

I’m with Saylor.
Our $STRC IPO funded the purchase of 21,021 BTC. Investors bought preferred shares; Strategy bought Bitcoin. Digital Credit opens credit markets to Bitcoin. More capital for Bitcoin. Same 21 million cap.

Luke, declining CAGR is consistent with a maturing asset; it doesn’t prove fiat control. Derivatives can influence price, but they can’t change Bitcoin’s supply cap. My thesis remains growing adoption of scarce digital capital.

To be clear, I'm saying BTC will reach six figures, but whether it will hold that level until the December close is a different story. ⚡️ Whoever wants to test if I'm right or wrong can place their bets on Kalshi, the prediction market.

Interesting thread.
1/ How Much of a US 10Y Yield Shock Does It Take to Break the S&P 500? I ran a simple historical event study to answer exactly that. Because a bond & stock market correction is likely what could force the Fed to pivot and intervene and ultimately lead into a full-blown #Bitcoin bull market. The question: how large does the rise in the US 10Y yield need to be - and how quickly does it need to happen - before the probability of a -10% S&P 500 correction rises materially? Short quant macro thread🧵

The dead cat continues to bounce. What is Bitcoin, 17 years later? It’s not great for transactions or smart contracts; the user experience is still intimidating for most, and it’s no longer capturing the public’s imagination. If it comes up at the dinner party, it's followed by a hearty “remember that!” It’s a boring store of value, trusted as that—which is its biggest value. It's boring. Folks expect bitcoin to be stable and that it’s no longer a way to get rich quick. Institutions embracing and accumulating it took $btc from punk rock to Muzak. Advocates went from pirates to suits in orange ties, awkwardly sharing cringe memes — just like the cool kids do! If Bitcoin were going to reach mass adoption and an important use case, it does better than anyone else, it would have by now. Bitcoin feels like the CD in the age of Spotify, the DVD in the age of Netflix — a bridge technology that folks who invested in “their collection” keep saying is the better experience. Perhaps bitcoin is vinyl, cool memories and fun to drag out and put on display, but a technology that served us to get to where we are now.
