I wouldn't be surprised that @MidnightNtwrk becomes more valuable than @Cardano at some point. Private swaps via self-custody wallets across different chains are a killer feature. I tell you, privacy and payments are the next big things in crypto. @IOHK_Charles is anything but stupid.

🏦 Midnight Foundation President Fahmi Syed Joins Monument Bank Founder at SALT London, November 3 to 4
@F_ZK_Now, President of @midnightfdn, announced today that next week he will speak at @SALTConference in London, alongside Mintoo Bhandari, founder of @monument_bank, and other industry leaders.
The topic: why banks are increasingly turning to permissionless, public rails to unlock new financial products and expand access to investment opportunities.
SALT London takes place November 3 to 4 at The Chancery Rosewood. SALT describes it as a gathering of around 500 asset managers, institutional allocators, bankers and fintech executives.
Why it matters: Monument Bank is the UK bank that plans to bring up to £250 million of tokenised retail deposits onto Midnight. Fully backed by the bank, redeemable in pounds and covered by FSCS. Midnight's privacy keeps customer data shielded while the bank can still prove compliance. CoinDesk reported in September that the rollout slipped and is now expected around November. Not live on mainnet yet.
What follows: a room full of bankers and allocators hears directly from a regulated bank why it chose a public privacy chain. Watch for a launch update.
