Out of a list of 12 values, Republicans put "patriotism" #1, for Dems it ranks dead last - by a lot.
Dems say "equality" is most needed, Republicans rank it 11th out of 12.

There is an exodus of vacation homes within the US housing market right now.
For the last 5 months, for every vacation home purchased, 2 are being sold.
These units are transitioning from vacation assets into primary residence or long term rentals.
The bigger question is what is causing Americans to unload vacation properties at such a high rate?

AirBNB had its place and time, but it’s over. Had a lovely stay at a Hyatt last night, left trash in the can, towels on the ground, and am confident my corporate overlord isn’t going to light me up with a guest review video. A professional exchange of goods for money. The AirBNB hosts did this to themselves and the platform lost control long ago.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

BREAKING: Iran has cut off LPG exports to Pakistan after Islamabad's border closure with Iran under US pressure, making Pakistan lose more than half its LPG supply, with the price of a 12 kg cooking gas cylinder now up 56% in just days, from 4,500 to 7,000 rupees, and expected to climb further, per Reuters.
Pakistan imported about 7,000 tonnes a day from Iran. Hundreds of LPG tankers are stranded at the Gabd-Rimdan and Taftan crossings, and the Quetta Chamber of Commerce has told members to stop placing new orders with Iran.
"We did not expect this from our Pakistani friends, and did not expect them to come under the influence of American pressure," said an Iranian MP.
Bessent said he is working with Pakistan and Turkey to cut off Iran's land routes. Sealing Iran off is now cutting household fuel to its neighbours.

Why are stocks falling? Because if you take the numbers in this chart seriously, the hyperscalers will hold at least $2.5 trillion in AI assets by the end of this decade. Assuming a depreciation rate of 20%, that would generate $500 billion in annual depreciation expense. This is more than their combined profits for 2025.
