I've gotten messages from a lot of students saying goodbye and thanking me for teaching them and caring about them. They are very sweet and their messages remind me that I do something meaningful for a living.

Good Thing: I’ve been blown away by the messages from our kids parents about how much we have meant to their kids. A lot of times we hope to have a positive impact on them, but actually hearing about it from them has been powerful, it makes me want to find ways to keep this going
Posted this on my classroom social media pages today in hopes of hearing all the good things going on in my students lives this past week! I wanted to continue the positivity on here! Start a thread & share a good thing! The world needs it right now! ❤️
Way to go @KauyKuhn 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 proud of you! @mistimkuhn
🗣️🗣️ PLAYER SHOUTOUT 🗣️🗣️
@KauyKuhn of @HesstonBaseball was CLUTCH this season in his 1st season for the Larks! Kauy had 14 hits this season with 7 of them being extra base hits! He lead the team in RBI's with 15! Big things in store for him and @HesstonBaseball 💪💪
Yesterday I was heartbroken, but today I woke up motivated and excited about the possibilities. In the last few days I’ve seen some AMAZING educators come together in ways I’ve never seen before. It has been inspiring! Proud to be a KS teacher. ❤️ We got this!!

Schools are closed.
Education will continue in some manner going forward.
You know who I'm worried about?
The kids who don't have wifi, the kids in abusive homes, the homeless kids, the kids who only can eat at school, the kids with IEPs who need the hands-on help of teachers.

Taking advice from my dawg, Coach McCormick @scms466Sarahmcc , I'm giving myself the rest of today to feel sad and sorry about this whole thing. Tomorrow is a new day. #BeavNation we got this. #UnchartedWaters
Y’all, we know school isn’t cancelled, the learning will continue. But the daily interactions that make us laugh, smile, those small moments we carry with us for a long time, those are. So let us be sad and angry!!! 💔 let us process this & express our emotions without judgment.
Lots of great athletes and young ladies on this list!! Great things ahead for all of them! Congrats @Kscheer10 @karenna_gerber @morganfmcats @kadehackerott

This has been a very sad & disheartening 24 hours. My heart is with all my players whose seasons got cut short! Please contact Dylan 620.366.0050 with any questions! We are working on a plan for our spring and summer that we hope to get out to you ASAP! #WSEFamily #CBTW #EAT
Prayers going out to all the students & school staff who will be at school today and in the following weeks. Also to nurses, doctors, all healthcare workers who don’t get to just not go to work in order to stay safe. Thinking of those who are affected by this but have no choice
