This is what I’ve been working on behind the scenes since May.
We are very close to having the drink mix in production. I cannot wait to share more with you and answer any questions along the way.
For now, enjoy the logo @iamhaleyshane made.
Thanks to everyone who has given me guidance on this journey. Especially those of you brave enough to sample the mystery powder I blended in my kitchen.
I have found a bunch of amazing friends through this app, but nothing prepared me for the level of support you have all shown since I started this project. There are honestly too many people to list and I don’t want to forget anyone.
Follow @GetTranquilitas for regular updates and ingredient info. I’ll be rolling that out along with more about the product and how it came to exist.
Tranquilitas is a powdered drink mix that will help you maintain emotional balance while remaining sharp and present.
You want to experience a sense of calm without the compromises that alcohol or prescription drugs come with. We can help.
Our ingredients are scientifically-backed and used in efficacious doses. We will not hide behind a “proprietary blend” and we will have third party testing for every batch.
Full ingredient info will be revealed soon. We are finalizing our product packaging and gearing up for production.
We look forward to sharing our story and products with you.
Let’s get Tranquil AF.

Battle of the Best. Are you Team Origin or Team Hatch? Settle it for FREE ($5 shipping): four sticks, 2 ORIGIN, 2 HATCH. getvaro.co
I started @GetTranquilitas because all of the calming drink mixes use ashwagandha.
The products without ashwagandha were essentially just magnesium.
I have a blend of inositol, taurine, magnesium glycinate, l-theanine, and saffron extract. It tastes great and really works.
If it doesn’t work for you, I’ll refund your purchase.
This might be a good time to tell you I launched a 7 stick trial offer for $20.

One of the scariest revelations is realizing how weak a lot of existing peer-reviewed literature actually is.
Lots of debate this week on whether journals should ban AI in peer review.
We actually tested this in our new preprint, and the results were pretty clear to me.
For context, I've reviewed for most of the big journals and evaluated 1,000 human reviews as an editor. I love to read and evaluate science.
TLDR: From now on I won't do any peer review without AI. For clinical trials, I'd even call human-only review dangerous 🧵
Qwench is a great protein powder. They are running a nice sale.
Check them out if you use protein powder.
Inspired by @WongEXE___ recent post.
My favorite Mark Bell video. youtu.be/H4Sftq18SGg?is=gLgs…
I was thinking about this recently.
I read T Nation, 70s Big, all of the 5/3/1 books. Listened to Mark Bell’s podcast for years.
Did a powerlifting meet just to see what it was like.
I’m back to Big 3 training for my lifting. Trying to get back to moderately strong. Load my skeleton more than machines do. Maintain awareness of my body in space.
I’ve never been excited by/afraid of a load on a machine the way I was when I would look at the weight for my 1+ set at the end of a 5/3/1 cycle.
I don't know the best way to articulate it, but it makes me a little sad that the younger generations may skip the wannabe powerlifter/weightlifting arc of their lifting journey and start life as a science-based lifter.
Everyone needs to experience what ragdolling plates on a barbell feels like when young.

In the big US treadmill registry, the top tenth of men in their 40s reach a VO2max of 52.1 mL of oxygen per kg per minute or more, above the typical man in his 20s, and the top tenth of women in their 40s sit above the typical woman in her 20s. Men and women in that top tenth are the ones who stayed active. For small groups of men who kept training for years, the loss ran about 5% a decade. A 40-year-old holding a 50 who keeps training most weeks is likely to keep his mobility into his 80s, while a 20-year-old at 48 without the activity habit is unlikely to be mobile enough to support themselves in their 80s

FREE, comprehensive, no bullshit, guide to Visceral Fat on its way. What it is, why we have it, and how to lose it if you have too much.

Suicidal people never realize is just how LONG life is.
I used to give G.G. Allin a run for his money. Raising hell, brawling, blacking out on liquor state to state, actively suicidal.
Nobody told me that 7 years later, I'd be driving my minivan to the LL Bean Store with my family and would actually genuinely enjoy it. I mean I used to sneer at the "LL Bean" type people, and now I guess I am one.
My "normal" then and my "normal" now have almost nothing in common whatsoever. It is as if I have been given an entirely new life.
And who knows? It could happen again. Maybe ten years from now I'll be a commodities trader in Pakistan, or running a successful chain of auto detailing stores in South Dakota. Literally anything could happen.
I didn't know any of this the last time I put a gun in my mouth. If I did, I probably would've realized how absolutely fucking retarded it is to kill yourself.

For years I uploaded to YouTube almost every day: training, nutrition, prep vlogs, interviews, all of it on the Tigerfitness channel.
On October 19, @YouTube terminated the channel. I appealed, and the appeal was denied the next day. I offered to remove any video they had a problem with and start clean. @TeamYouTube’s answer: no reinstatement, and no way to get a copy of my own videos.
I’m not asking them to put the channel back up. I’m asking for my own work: thousands of videos showing my face, my voice, my training and my family over the years.
So I’m taking action:
• I’ve filed a formal request under the Tennessee Information Protection Act for a copy of my personal data, including every video I uploaded.
• I’ve sent Google a formal notice to preserve the channel’s videos and records.
• If they refuse, I’ll use every remedy available to me, including complaints to the state.
Here’s how you can help:
• Keep the pressure on. Reply to or tag @TeamYouTube and ask them to give Marc Lobliner a copy of his videos. Keep it respectful. Persistence works better than insults.
• If you ever downloaded or saved one of my videos, reply or DM me. Every copy helps.
I’ll keep you posted. I’m not stopping.
As I put my son to bed tonight, I had this train of thought.
There is nothing better than being a dad. I've said this a few times but the sentiment grows and grows. There simply isn't anything better than being a Father. To tucking my son in and telling him I love him. To hear him ask me for one more story. One more funny noise.
I know that there's a ton of Fathers on this app. A ton of Dad's. I mean this honestly and sincerely.
I am rooting for you. No matter what is between us. If you're a dad, I'm hoping that you have an amazing relationship with your child.
I know that there's dad's here who have kids in there 30's. Some with kids in highschool age, some same age as my son. Whatever age / stage that they're in, I'm rooting for ya.
B/c I'm still and will be, always learning. I've learned a lot from a lot of great dads on this app. No, dad's aren't perfect. But man, we do f*cking try.
Keep pushing and may God lead you with grace and love.
It’s really annoying that @DigitalFringed1 was right about the Just Bare chicken.
I thought I was fine with the Costco version to save a few bucks. Tried Just Bare today and I can’t go back now.
Another 16 miler with 4x1 mile tempo repeats in it.
Had to be honest with where my fitness is right now and slow down the tempo.
I felt way better on this than any of the 16+ mile runs I’ve done in the last 2 months.
