Six traditional leaders from different regions of Namibia received vehicles sponsored by Onani Investment Company at a handover ceremony in Otjiwarongo today.
The recipients are Chief Martha Mwadinomho ya Kristian Nelumbu of the Oukwanyama Traditional Authority in the Ohangwena Region; Chief Glony Arnold of the !Kung Traditional Authority in the Otjozondjupa Region; Chief Jeremia Gaobaeb of the Nami-Daman Traditional Authority in the Kunene Region; Chief Sofia Mundjembwe Kanyetu of the Shambyu Traditional Authority in the Kavango East Region; Chief Dawid Hanse of the Simon Kooper (!Khar Khoen) Traditional Authority in the Hardap Region; and Chief Gilbert Muhongo Mutwa of the Masubia Traditional Authority in the Zambezi Region.
The vehicles are expected to improve the leaders’ mobility and enable them to carry out their duties and serve their communities more effectively.
