He joined a military of 330,000 troops and walked out of one with less than half that and a single armoured division that can't even train because there's no budget, and he's blunt that Labour and the Tories both did this
Then the pledge that matters, which is that a Reform government ends the prosecutions of our service personnel and veterans within 100 days and if he fails he resigns as armed forces minister, and when did you last hear anyone in Westminster put their job on the line like that

They didn’t just fail Henry Nowak as he lay dying.
They failed his family in the hours that followed.
Right after telling them their 18 year old son had been murdered, police asked about his political views. And theirs.
His mother later said: “It’s a really strange question. You’ve just been told your son’s been murdered and then they asked that.”
Meanwhile the official story kept changing. First aid had been given immediately. Then it became he was detained. Then handcuffed. Then arrested while he was dying.
They were shown a draft press release that painted their son as the aggressor while his father was still driving home from identifying his body.
The family now say they fear they were manipulated in their darkest hours, with decisions made to protect the police rather than help them.
That’s not support. That’s something far colder.

A Simple List of Key Allegations Involving South Yorkshire Police Officers.
- A 12-year-old White girl was raped in the back of a marked police car by a serving Pakistani police officer
- A police officer helped facilitate the kidnapping of a child and her detention in a rape house for 10 weeks
- Police officers supplied Class A drugs to grooming gang members. In return for access to victims? Or to help drug their victims? Both?
- Child victims of gang rape were violently assaulted in police custody, including being beaten while locked in cells
- Police officers ripped up written statements made by children begging for help
- Officers blackmailed victims for 'sex', threatening to return them to gang members if they did not comply
- Operation Linden (2022) examined 47 current and former officers, finding 8 cases for misconduct, 6 for gross misconduct, but no criminal prosecutions or dismissals - only internal disciplinary actions such as written warnings or management directives.
- Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) conducted a five-year investigation reviewing 265 serious allegations. During this time, not one single officer was prosecuted. Zilch!!!
The Rotherham scandal is no longer just about the Pakistani Rape Gangs. It is about a police force that enabled abuse, officers who took part in it, and the IOPC that protected them.
Yet despite the overwhelming evidence against @syptweet and @policeconduct , the Home Secretary @YvetteCooperMP, remains silent and is refusing to instruct the National Crime Agency take over the investigation.
Why? In what world can this cover up continue?
