He already did win me over. His staff is the most competent, collection of experience and talent we've ever seen here by a factor of 10. There's no "old HS buddy coming out of retirement" or "son of a friend" thing. His charisma is off the charts. He's a leader.

You know how some words have multiple meanings? Like the word "hot"? She is hot! = She is good looking The player has a hot hand = He's shooting well The tea kettle is hot = High temperature The word "Forward" in the NFL rule book has multiple meanings too. The penalty moved the team forward = Towards the End Zone they are trying to reach The QB's arm moved forward = Opposite direction of his windup motion

FUN FACT! If we exclude the Arctic Archipelago islands from Canada, then Canada, the USA, Australia and Europe all end up about the same size! Greenland is about as big as the USA West Coast. It's weird how maps we grew up with played mind games with us.

In the summer of 1976, I was at a pool party at a family friends house. It started to rain so the kids got shuffled into the basement. As I went downstairs, I heard "Silly Love Songs" on the radio by Wings. I remember that because when I got down to the bottom of the steps something happened that changed my world. There were a couple of older kids watching TV. But they weren't watching cartoons. What was on that screen was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. They were playing a GAME! ON THE TV!! 🤯🤯🤯 The game of course was Pong. It's been 50 years since that game came out but I still enjoy playing video games even today. Been a helluva ride! I've been seeing a bunch of nostalgia tweets lately so thought I'd share this.

This is front page on CNN right now. It's based on a paper put out by a non-profit whose CEO is a Biology/Zoologist guy. Guess there isn't much money in the mating habits of Monkeys so start a non-profit about climate control and get clicks I guess. SMH. cnn.com/2026/05/25/climate/n…

That was one of the weirdest 9th inning I've ever seen in KC @ DET. K Line out Single - Pinch Runner Pickoff - OUT - Game Over - Reversed - SAFE Passed Ball Balk Fly out - Game Over again.

As I get older, I find that it's important to send the future me notes. Like, when I'm putting away Xmas lights I let the future me know which strands are working and where the net lights are and why in the heck I kept this tote of stuff. Saves me hours of head scratching

Ok, so we're talking fireballs and meteors here. NASA has a division of the Jet Propulsion Lab called CNEOS. It studies Near Earth Objects (NEOs). When they find an asteroid they give it a name. Year discovered plus some alpha chars. (more--->)

Normally they find a few a year. No big. And the ones they find could be coming or going. It's random. All of a sudden, we have just discovered an entire page of asteroids and Earth is about to go by all of them. They're all about the size of a swimming pool. cneos.jpl.nasa.gov/ca/

DET Lions have: #1 and #5 at S #30 at DB #10 16 at LB #36 at DT (#9 on PUP #16 on IR) + Tyleik Williams #1 at EDGE DB is probably their weakest area, but between DJ Reed, Arnold's yr2 leap and Amik and the support of the NFL's top safety duo, this is a very strong DEF

Some thoughts on the Lions 53: * I don't understand Lovett over Meeks * Manu does not look like an NFL T yet * Where is Nate Lynn? * Is Za'Darius still in play? * Some guys value is in ST but why is that never shown on a 53? Who are the gunners? Who is the returner?

With the win tonight the @tigers are now 56-34. The nearest team in the Central to them is the Twins at 43-46. Tigers are playing at a .622 clip but if they just go .500 they end up at 92 wins. MIN would need to win at a .671 clip (108 win season clip). It's over.

Newaygo City near Quarterline St and Barton. Damage is really sparse. Small Tornado? You'd expect more widespread dmg with straight line winds. @NWSGrandRapids @bsteffen #wmiwx

From @DetroitOnLion : @daverichard @DrewDavenportFF Pay attention to this. Lions WR situation could drastically impact Amon-Ra's production if he has to move to the X where he's not as effective

My dynasty home league champ game came down to me and a good friend of mine. We've faced off for the champ the last 3 years and have played decades together. Sunday night he congratulated me on my victory. He died yesterday. So, I won, but I feel a tragic loss. I'm sad.
