Stablecoin flows today are a commercial banking book. They’re just being written somewhere other than a bank.

Stablecoins have proven demand.
For fintechs, banks, and enterprises, the next question is strategic: how do wallets, cards, treasury flows, settlement, compliance, and distribution fit together?

Stablecoins Go Mainstream: Inside the New Payments Stack
Oct 15, 1 PM UTC
With leaders from @raincards, @FireblocksHQ, @PulsarMoneyApp , @velocityxyz_ , @DDSCAI, and Protofire.
Watched a wave of startups land on our network this past year building one specific thing: credit for stablecoin payouts.
Makes sense once you think about it. Prefunding a payout at $10M+/day just recreates the capital drag stablecoins were supposed to kill.
Four ways people are solving it, and @arf_one alone has settled $18B+ with zero defaults doing one of them.

Agent-initiated transactions could hit 15 to 25% of global e-commerce this decade.
Stablecoins are the settlement layer making it work.
We're taking that to @thestablecon USA. 🧵
This is a super-smart move by @Circle, expanding the Circle Payments Network after their Managed Payments launch. @Tazapay brings $25b in annual volume (via @FireblocksHQ) plus licenses that are hard to come by. Great for the space, great for the infra that powers 70%+ of it.
Circle has signed an agreement to acquire @tazapay, a cross-border payments company supporting businesses across 100+ markets.
Tazapay brings a payments-native team, 60+ banking and fintech partners, and meaningful stablecoin payment volume, with more than 60% of its volume running on stablecoins as of July 31, 2026.
Together, we’re working to expand stablecoin-powered payment infrastructure for businesses moving value globally.

A token can carry its whole transaction history, and that is the problem for banks, not the solution.
@RyanRRugg, Head of Digital Assets @Citi on the latest episode of Tokenized with hosts @sytaylor and @rangoldi
"If one of our large clients wants to deposit it into the bank, but it was used five hops ago in illicit behavior, who's responsible?"
Citi says it won't take that risk without explicit regulatory guidance on how many hops back a token's history counts.

Last time @Visa, @Mastercard and @AmericanExpress came together was 1996, to create EMV, a standard for cards (actually a cool story, read about it).
30 years after, they are creating a standard for Stablecoins (and they included Fireblocks as well). It worked for the card space, so let's see what happens next. :)

"Stablecoins, they're not cheaper. They won't solve world hunger. But they're fast, transparent, and predictable."
Tune in to our conversation with @rangoldi, SVP of Payments at @FireblocksHQ live at @money2020.
Seven providers means seven reconciliation headaches, seven compliance conversations, seven points of failure. Integration isn't a nice-to-have. It's the product.
Ran Goldi (@rangoldi ) from @FireblocksHQ:
“Standalone products are losing relevance. Users want one integrated solution, not seven different providers.”

.@LukeTuttle2049 reframes the stablecoin conversation:
Remittance can be summed up in one word. Trust.
There are few things more intimate than handing someone a stack of money and asking them to send it somewhere for you.
Everything else, speed, cost, features, comes after that.

Many PSPs talk the talk, Checkout actually walks the blockchain walk as well.
As of today, if you’re a @Checkout merchant, you should ask (demand!) them to settle with you 24/7 using Stablecoins. Yes, 24/7.
Why? Because you want your capital management to be as efficient as possible, so you could do more for your business.
Congrats to the amazing Checkout and Fireblocks teams for working on this -
