HIDTA & HSTF Investigation: Alleged CJNG tunnel engineer “El Ingeniero” indicted for building a sophisticated cross-border tunnel.
The tunnel ran 1,933 feet from Tijuana, was 55 feet deep and 4.5 feet high, and had walls, electricity, ventilation, and a rail system. Arrested in Mexico Oct. 15. Over $45M in cocaine seized.

Former 75th Ranger Regiment sniper Nicholas Irving, known as "The Reaper," with his custom SR-25 sniper rifle, "Dirty Diana." Irving served as a sniper with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and during a single deployment to Afghanistan in 2009, he was credited with 33 confirmed kills, one of the highest totals for a single deployment in special operations history.
The SR-25 was the rifle at the center of it all. A semi-automatic 7.62mm platform, it gave Ranger snipers the ability to engage multiple targets quickly at range, a critical advantage in the fast moving fights Rangers were known for. Irving named his "Dirty Diana," after the Michael Jackson song, and the rifle became almost as well known as the man behind it.
After leaving the Army, Irving told his story in his memoir, "The Reaper," and has spent the years since teaching marksmanship and sharing what he learned with a new generation of shooters.
Rangers lead the way.
