“Alexa, show me a thread on X that evidences what is wrong with the game.”
Darren is also a serving member of our armed forces and has served in Iraq. The people taking photos of his car and posting it on social media and ridiculing him, need to give their head a wobble.
They couldn’t lace his boots never mind have to bottle to do what his does.
Cowards all of them.
Really enjoyed our chat. 👍
Editing up a great chat with Martin Cassidy from the amazing @refsupportuk this will be available from Tuesday…meanwhile Sports fans, find all our great Episodes available to Download wherever you get your Podcasts from…
What did you get out of posting a photo of his car?
Do you think it’s wise to compromise his safety by posting a photo of his car?
Totally unnecessary.

So far this weekend I've seen referees slagged off for... playing the game, not playing the game, and for starting and then abandoning the game 😅🤷♂️

I saw that yesterday, online and it was embarrassing that some sad person could write such a comment.
Think that person needs help. As for Darren great ambassador for the game and more important the country.

Imagine the uproar at games across the country if refs called them off before KO by saying their ARs would create an awful mess running up and down the touchlines.
😂😂😂💪👍
Isn't a nice to know that even on the Premier League your flag can come off the handle during a game 😁😁 @refsupportuk
Just be honest, the problem here is you just didn’t like the ref getting £84 🤷♂️
I’m all for playing matches but that was an abysmal decision to allow that game to be played out in them conditions. It’s the volunteers who now have to pick up the pieces. Worrying thing we warned this would happen but no one listens
Ref earns £84 and goes home happy.
@nwcfl
To me this is a red. He looks down at him and increase his pace of movement just before he makes contact.
Very surprised this wasn’t a red.
@no1lino @RefereeHalsey @Refsplaining @refsupportuk @prorefofficial can anyone give me a rational explanation as to why this wasn’t a red in the first place and why VAR didn’t intervene?

If you’re playing this weekend do your thing. If you’re a coach, coach your team, if you’re a parent/partner, supporter your team, above all, support the official who are doing their best to officiate the game we are all a part of. DON’T RUIN THE GAME BY ABUSING A REFEREE.
