Coach Ray Chambers II

So proud of my guy @Jonah_Howells. X Team — Overcoming Adversity has been central for my Nephew this year and we can’t thank @Osbourn_FB and The @CityofManassas for welcoming him and our Family. Shoutout to @CoachCope703 who has done a phenomenal job with Jonah this season. Much more news to come!!! Stay tuned and enjoy the film. Let’s go! @HokiesFB @ECUPiratesFB @BigRed_Football @JCKSportsNews @CanesFootball @SacHornetsFB @UTRGVFootball @TerpsFootball @BCFootball @OvertonDarryl

Listen. This was a tough one. But I am beyond proud of my Nephew for doing almost but everything to save this game. One thing is clear. The kid is a high-powered talent and truly any coach’s dream! I’ve explained to him that in these moments in the season (and in Life) it’s important to have a “Next Play” mentality. Nonetheless, beautiful ball-tosses vs a well-coached Patriot team and some great movement on his feet! Stat Line: Passing 5/10 for 95 Yards, 1 TD; Rushing 5 Carries for 29 Yards! Let’s see how my guy @CoachCope703 gets this young and talented squad to bounce back in a HUGE one against Gainesville. — Did I see that Gainesville beat my Bobcats? Big Playoff implications in this one. Let’s go @Jonah_Howells!!! @CoachBHowells @trentonluera14 @JCKSportsNews @PrepRedzoneVA @joebaldasari @novafootballpod @carljfred @OvertonDarryl @Luck2fastt @DeanteSteele

NEW HIGHLIGHT! — Junior QB @Jonah_Howells shows sparks of brilliance last week in Prince William County, VA. Stat Line: 5/6 Passing - 122 Yards, 2 TDs. 3 Rushes for 67 Yards. Quality win and well executed offense by @CoachCope703 & Co! But the real work begins now and there’s no time to get complacent. Patriot up next! Let’s go! @SacHornetsFB @HokiesFB @BigRed_Football @ECUPiratesFB @JCKSportsNews @CoachBHowells @carljfred @novafootballpod @InsideNoVA @TP_recruiting @OvertonDarryl

There’s nothing worse than The Zebra’s to take it upon themselves to influence the outcome of a HS game. I don’t hardly ever blame Officials because I am one, but the two blown calls (PI; Illegal Touching - Kickoff Recovery) in Osbourn v Indy was an absolute abomination. — I will post proof over on IG and @VHSL_ needs to conduct a thorough review! With that being said… We’re going to keep all things 100 here…. abysmal stat line for The Kid @Jonah_Howells on Friday. 70 Yards on only 10 Attempts. 1 (beautiful) TD Pass and 2 INT’s (1 - Desperation; 1 - Dropped); 34 Yards Rushing. — But, I am happy that Osbourn’s 2 great Offensive Players in Jonah and Zion were able to reconnect for the games only Passing TD though! The RB, “Ty” ripped off a 96 yarder that was great to see. — But, it was all for not. It’s back to the drawing board for The Eagles’ Offense. However, I am highly encouraged that @CoachCope703 has the recipe for success. With a little more offensive balance and the same gritty attitude on defense, I can say, that IF, The Eagles make it to the Post-Season, tread lightly!! — The Eagles face off against Unity Read and Patriot next. Stay tuned!!! @CoachBHowells @novafootballpod @ECUPiratesFB @BigRed_Football @SCState_Fb @SacHornetsFB @PrepRedzoneVA @CoachCWhiting @OvertonDarryl @HokiesFB @WWFE_RCT @TP_recruiting

High Quality week for the kid @LucasGArgueta! We’ve talked about being able to lead on the fast break after clearing the glass. The ball-handling just needed to catch up with the Passing Ability and my guy has put in the work! — Preseason has been nothing short of STELLAR. Fauquier High School has landed a gem and a certified Playmaker. The 6’6” , 180 lb’r is having a great Preseason with The Falcons. Most impressive has been the work on the Defensive end and the ability to operate in the open court and knock down mid-range shots. The touch floater we’ve been working on is coming along. College Coaches following this time line, tap in! — Aspiring 4 Year College Player. We’ll take it. #9 for @Jonah_Howells and @Osbourn_FB! @CoachCope703 and The Eagles are on the move and aren’t letting a day go by on the practice field. I can attest to this. This is team is VERY HUNGRY for Friday. Thank you @NovaFootballPod! — Appreciate the love! #TheGreatNoticing @CoachBHowells @SacHornetsFB @HokiesFB @ECUPiratesFB @CoachDreGray

Update! The Osbourn Eagles Football Team (@Osbourn_FB) is now 3-1 courtesy of my good friend @CoachCope703. With these 2 impressive victories over Hylton and Potomac, you can’t help but to love everything this team is producing on the field. What Coach Cope has done with the Defense over the last two games has been high quality work and unprecedented to be completely honest. I’m sure Mike knows they still have a lot of work to do but going into the Bye Week, The Eagles have a lot to hang their hats on! — Let’s go! On Friday, @Jonah_Howells played well against a scrappy Potomac Team. STATS: Passing: 10/13 for 167 yards - 1 TD; 1 INT; Rushing: 8 carries for 137 yards - 1 TD I am very proud of Jonah’s growth over the past 2 weeks and I believe he’s starting to “figure it out” in terms of what means to be a Leader. More work to do in the film room for sure. But, right now is not the time to get complacent. CONSISTENCY IS KEY! — #EaglesUp🦅 @CoachBHowells @TP_Recruiting @SacHornetsFB @InsideNoVA @novafootballpod @HokiesFB

No days off!!! Imperative to work on those things that some may think are insignificant. But we’re talking about having skills translate into game time performance. Good work @Jonah_Howells! @CoachBHowells @CoachCope703 @trentonluera14 @reviberay @PrepRedzoneVA @joebaldasari @novafootballpod @carljfred @OvertonDarryl

The main thing I loved about my nephew in this WIN versus Hylton, is that he embodied what it means to be a “Game Manager”. We talked about forcing throws. He didn’t. He threw it away instead of leaving it up to chance. We talked about using his feet. His 3rd Down and 4th Down conversion rate was way above board. — This is IQ. Most importantly, his HUMILITY was at full display. Despite the heavy rush and undisciplined hits on him towards the end, he still wanted to remain in the game. This is why great coaching (@CoachCope703) is imperative for HS kids! Jonah bowed out gracefully with a total Team W. — Shout out to Osbourn’s Defense and Special Teams! @Jonah_Howells said “Unc, I could have played a lot better”. — I respect that. The level of expectation this kid carries for himself is thru the roof. But yes, there’s always work to be done. Anyway, on to the next one! Stay tuned to this account for all things Osbourn HS Football this season! @CoachBHowells @novafootballpod @TP_recruiting

“Competitive Edge” is an understatement. Not many quarterbacks in this day and age in HS are standing in the pocket, taking a huge hit, and still delivering a strike down the field. I have got to give credit to the Osborne Offensive Line tho. Somebody owes them steak!

S/O to @Jonah_Howells and Osborne HS for pulling off their first W of the season! Howells scored FOUR rushing TD’s, 112 yards on 15 carries, almost catching @HoganPick6 record of 5. 7/9 on 82 yards passing but with a blown out of bounce call taking away a TD. @novafootballpod
