Hey @elonmusk: want to move over to Louisiana?
How about if we successfully eliminate our state income tax like @LAGovJeffLandry has committed to do? We've already got the best food, culture, and people, and we're thrilled to have @SpaceX building here!

Yes, and we need to build it on the right foundation, rooted in conservative, free-market principles.

It’s time for Republicans to do some soul searching.
This happened in 2006. We regrouped and came back in 2010.
Why?
Because we returned to our roots of promising limited government, free markets - the things that voters wanted.
Right now - GOP sounds too much like Democrats when it comes to the economy. So many of these are things that Bernie Sanders applauds.

I’m a Louisiana native that can’t wait to build a company in this exploding economy that Louisiana is becoming.
The future of Louisiana is bright!
🇺🇸 WHAT exactly is happening in Louisiana?!
While Wall Street is busy panicking about the AI bubble, companies are lining up to pour HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS into one American state.
And we're not talking about vague promises to create a few hundred jobs.
SpaceX has announced a staggering $100 BILLION spaceport near Pecan Island.
Meta is building a $50 BILLION+ AI supercomputer campus.
Amazon has announced another $18 BILLION for data centers.
And that's before you get to the enormous LNG terminals, steel mills and energy infrastructure projects spreading across the state.
Louisiana has already attracted more than $250 BILLION in announced investments, according to state officials.
Why Louisiana?
Cheap access to natural gas, enormous industrial sites, Gulf shipping routes, and a state government determined to attract big business.
Not all that money has actually been spent. Some projects are under construction, while others are still plans that need permits, financing and years of work.
But the scale is REMARKABLE.
A state better known for oil, gas and chemical plants is now positioning itself as a major hub for AI, energy AND space exploration.
And much of America hasn't even noticed.

Louisiana’s education funding system has grown larger and more complex while enrollment has fallen.
Reviewing the public school funding formula is a good start. Lasting reform requires a broader look.

The demand for data centers comes from all of us. Video calls, online classes, bank transactions, medical records, and AI tools all rely on them.
