Irrespective of the methodology, only empowered teams with a high sense of ownership consistently deliver well. They usually have figured out their systems and balances. Arbitrarily pushing a new system which isn't seen by the team as improvements will end up causing more harm.

Also using this to shamelessly plug myself: if you’re a wildlife biologist, ecologist or research veterinarian and you need a research assistant, HIRE ME. I’m sick with remote work like camera trap surveillance and currently learning GIS mapping. For vets, I KNOW EVERY PARASITE

I went from living a very active life of sailing, yoga, running 5-7 miles a day—I was the picture of health in Nov 2019—I got sick Feb of 2020, & now I’ve been an invalid for a year. Since I never had a positive COVID test, they won’t consider COVID-related issues. 6/

It’s really hard for me to watch everyone “move on” while millions of Americans continue getting infected and no one cares. DYING IS THE EASY WAY OUT, FOLKS. We aren’t talking about the living hell that awaits survivors, especially those who never had positive Covid tests. 5/

I'm such a "mild case". Unable to work for 1.5 years now. My autonomic nervous system is not working properly. The simplest tasks give me a heart rate of 160. Sometimes I can’t even sit or stand up. I am 34 years old. #longcovid didn’t kill me, but I am not living either

Wow. Long Covid people are missing naive T cells. I wrote about the loss of naive T cells and the death of T cells being problematic in 2020 in frontiers nature.com/articles/s41590-0…

Reading anything about cold coronas would tell us we'd get reinfected again and again. Strong recommendation to skim 1974 and 1979, most of the broad knowledge was there xitter.cf/jmcrookston/status/131…
