Life lesson of the day: If you shouldn’t say it publicly, you shouldn’t think it privately.
Even in the most charitable interpretation of Chappelle’s “joke”, it is atrocious beyond words and will only encourage more political violence.
Chappelle is playing with demonic forces, the consequences of which are impossible to control.
And he will certainly suffer the immediate business consequences of playing with that fire.
Maybe he has all the money in the world to live in his castle. But when you are no longer welcome among your fellow man, you castle quickly becomes a prison.
