The anti-solar mind virus has infected the GOP.
There are still plenty of principled conservatives, but they’re being drowned out by ideologues and cronies.
Look at this chart and tell me again how solar isn’t “real energy.”

Copper is approaching a pivotal inflection point, in my view.
Just as $2,000/oz was a defining level for gold, the $5/lb threshold carries similar significance for copper.
Once this level is decisively breached again, I believe copper could enter a phase of price discovery much like what we saw with gold.
Copper is central to nearly every major infrastructure initiative of the coming decade — ranging from data centers and onshoring to grid modernization, the resurgence of manufacturing, residential development, and more.
Exciting times likely ahead for overall metals in my view.

While I was discussing affordable EVs as a source of a #lithium/EV demand shock, general affordability was increasing in China. A tenuous line between "business as usual" demand and demand shocks of various types and magnitudes is starting to emerge.
Global electric car sales rose by 35% in the 1st quarter of 2025.
The growing affordability of electric models is helping drive this momentum.
