Donald, you stood in front of Americans paying $4.29 a gallon for gas and explained that oil companies are making a fortune. Then you anticipated the headline about families suffering at the pump and announced, “I don’t give a damn.”
To be precise, you were talking about the bad publicity. But that’s hardly a defense. You knew exactly how it would sound, said it anyway, and asked the crowd to celebrate.
An oil company’s windfall is not a family’s pay raise. Higher crude prices can enrich producers while making the school run, the commute, and a truckload of groceries more expensive.
You promised cheaper gas. Your war with Iran helped send prices soaring. Now you’re bragging about the winners while everyone else pays.
Donald, when you say “we’re making a freaking fortune,” Americans have one perfectly reasonable question:
Who’s “we”? Because it certainly isn’t the people filling their tanks.

For those still voting Republican, what is it you like?
The endless foreign wars? The massive corruption and self dealing? 7 dollar diesel? Job losses and rising unemployment? 8% mortgage rates? Giving aid and comfort to our enemies? Diarrhea lettuce? Horse meat? Flock cameras? Data centers? Insurance companies making a billion dollars a month in profit while they use AI to deny you life saving tests and medications? Measles? Suggestions to eat liver and scrap meat and to drive less because you can no longer afford beef and gas?

Sleep peacefully, America. ICE caught Sister Leticia Ugboaja walking to Sunday Mass.
She had a valid work permit, attended EVERY required immigration appointment and complied with EVERY condition of her court-ordered protection.
A nun. A nurse. Following the rules. Walking to church.
Thank God they got to her before she could receive Communion.
It took intervention from members of Congress to help secure her release. Apparently, a work permit and doing everything immigration officials require aren’t quite as effective as knowing someone in Congress.
So much for “do it the right way" hey MAGA????
