Small government conservatives. Fiscal conservatives. Cultural conservatives. Leader of the free world, peace through strength conservatives. Pro-democracy conservatives. Anti-authoritarian conservatives. Personal values conservatives. Patriotic but not nationalist conservatives. Capitalism but not state capitalism conservatives. Federalist conservatives. And most of all: Rule of Law conservatives.

(Montesquieu introduced the political theory of Separation of Powers that the Founding Fathers built into the Constitution of the US. While the servile Trump party was in power, Trump had free reign. Come January Congress strikes back. This lifelong Reagan Republican is looking forward to seeing the Trump regime held accountable.

Trump was on the ballot tonight. The President had a 35% favorable rating and voters disliked his gas prices, chaos, tariffs, abusing allies and hugging Putin. No one in the WH is willing to speak truth to the President. The GOP wants the Party of Reagan and Lincoln back.

Most every morning, I wake up to news that Russia has bombed a hospital or school; that Ukraine has bombed an oil refinery; and that the United States has put more pressure on Ukraine. There is no moral equivalence in this war. It is straight right-and-wrong, good-and-evil. The defeat of Putin is a world imperative.
After 40 years of voting Republican I cannot believe I am saying this, but I'm looking forward to seeing the Trump GOP taken to the woodshed and given a good thrashing.

The greatest and most destructive lie being endlessly repeated in the press is that Trump just wants โpeaceโ between Russia and Ukraine. The opposite is the truth. He wants a Russian victory and the destruction of Ukraine.
If he wanted โpeaceโ he could easily aid Ukraine and sanction Russia. He wants war, and a horrible one at that.
