When I voted for the Working Families Tax Cut, I secured no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, along with lower taxes for small businesses across #CO08.
That means roughly $4,000 back in the pockets of hardworking families.
That’s what I’m focused on continuing to deliver.

It is a matter of historical fact that the two groups most prone to murdering or enslaving Christians are Communism and Islam.
The Democrat Party is now under the control of a marriage of convenience between literal Communists and Islamic Jihadists. This unholy alliance is popularly referred to as the "Red/Green Alliance."
If you are an American Christian, know this: the Red/Green Alliance wants you dead, or enslaved, or bankrupted, or persecuted so badly that you will not be allowed to live freely in American society.
They hide behind the lies of benevolence of seemingly harmless masks like Talarico.
Those masks will fall as soon as they achieve power.
There should not be a single adult Christian staying home for the midterms. Christians must vote like their life depends on it, because it does.

TWO REPORTED DEAD, OTHERS IN COMAS FOLLOWING MASS FENTANYL OVERDOSE AT DENVER’S COMMONS PARK
Families sought media coverage but were told the story was politically inconvenient ahead of November’s election.
Wednesday, October 21, 2026
DENVER, COLORADO — Two men have reportedly died, and other victims remain in comas following a mass fentanyl overdose involving as many as seven people at Commons Park in downtown Denver earlier this month. Despite the severity of the incident, the families struggled to get news organizations to cover what happened.
Commons Park is located along the South Platte River, directly across from the Denver Skatepark and near Confluence Park.
Information obtained by Denver in the Dark and Jefferson County Dispatch News indicates the incident occurred approximately October 4, 2026. The newsroom has received confirmation identifying fentanyl as the substance involved.
Two men, identified as Jared Sandoval, also known as JJ or J Steez, and John, known as JC, were reportedly placed in medically induced comas following the incident.
Sandoval reportedly died on October 6. John subsequently died as well.
Other individuals involved in the incident reportedly suffered life-threatening medical emergencies, with some remaining in comas. Their current conditions have not been independently confirmed.
As many as seven people were reportedly involved in the same fentanyl overdose incident.
FAMILIES SOUGHT HELP FROM THE MEDIA
The families of the victims attempted to bring this incident to the attention of news organizations but were told the story was politically inconvenient to cover with Colorado’s November election approaching.
Consider what that means.
Two men are reportedly dead. Other people remain in comas. Families are grieving and desperately trying to bring attention to what happened, yet political considerations stood in the way of coverage.
These families were not asking for special treatment. They wanted people to know what happened to their loved ones.
The public deserves to know about an incident of this magnitude, regardless of whether an election is two weeks away or two years away.
Fentanyl overdoses are a public health emergency, not a political inconvenience.
A COMMUNITY LEFT GRIEVING
On October 10, a memorial balloon release was announced for Jared Sandoval at the Denver Skatepark, near the location where the overdoses reportedly occurred.
Friends and loved ones have been left grieving the loss of people whose lives were cut short.
Meanwhile, other families have reportedly continued waiting and hoping for loved ones to recover from comas.
These are not just numbers in an overdose report. They are sons, friends, and people who mattered to their communities.
Their families deserve compassion, answers, and the opportunity to have their stories heard.
THE PUBLIC DESERVES TO KNOW
An incident involving seven reported fentanyl overdoses, two subsequent deaths, and other victims in comas should not go unnoticed in a major American city.
It happened in a public park near one of Denver’s most recognizable recreational areas.
Fentanyl continues to devastate families and communities across Colorado. Its involvement in an incident affecting multiple people in the same location makes public awareness especially important.
The lack of widespread media coverage is itself worth examining.
When families reach out to the press about the deaths of their loved ones and are told the story is politically inconvenient, that deserves public scrutiny.
The responsibility of journalism is to report what is happening, including stories that may be uncomfortable for elected officials, government agencies, or the public.
The approaching election should have absolutely no bearing on whether these families receive coverage.
Denver in the Dark and Jefferson County Dispatch News believe these families deserve to be heard.
We are continuing to investigate the incident and welcome information from witnesses, family members, and anyone with firsthand knowledge of what happened at Commons Park.
The identities of confidential sources will be protected.
Our condolences go out to the families and friends of Jared Sandoval and John, and to everyone affected by this tragedy. We also hope for the recovery of those who remain hospitalized.

Editor’s note: This report is based on information obtained by the newsroom, including source confirmation identifying fentanyl as the substance involved and accounts of families seeking media coverage. Official records confirming the reported deaths, total number of patients, and current medical conditions remain pending. Confidential sources are being protected.

I honestly do not understand how any American who is not already a literal Communist or a literal Jihadist could vote Democrat after hearing what Slotkin said below.

Undeniably.
Irrefutably.
This is a sitting member of Congress who was in the CIA saying that dissent from what she believes will result in imprisonment.

Please please PLEASE share her words with everyone you know. The Democrat/Media Complex will try to bury this. It is up to us on social media, on blogs and via texts and emails to get the word out.
The only way to stop these monsters is to make sure that voters who don't really keep up on politics understand the actual threat, see it with their own eyes and hear it with their own ears.
Please. Spread the word to anyone who will listen. And even those who won't listen.

In late November 1943, Bill Veeck considered military service.
Given his economic and celebrity status, he was offered a safe promotion and an officer’s commission in the Army or Navy.
Because of his sense of fair play and being a man who turned away from privilege, he turned it down and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps as a private.
Bill Veeck remained dedicated to the war effort by demanding to be sent to a war zone.
The next spring, he was stationed in the South Pacific Island of Bougainville.
While there, one of his greatest sacrifices was when his right leg was crushed by a recoiling artillery piece.
His WWII wound would never fully heal, and in 1946, after a series of infections, Bill Veeck's right leg was amputated nine inches below the knee.
This would be the first of thirty separate amputations, as the leg would slowly deteriorate over the rest of his life.
Veeck received a Purple Heart for his injuries.
"What Bill Veeck did better than any baseball executive in the game's history of the game was to get fans in the seats.
No one did more to draw people to games than Veeck when he was the owner of the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox.
Veeck introduced ballpark crowd-pleasers like fan-appreciation night, player names on uniforms, fireworks displays, electronic scoreboards, culinary alternatives to peanuts and Cracker Jacks.
More than anything else, Bill Veeck made going to the ballpark a family outing."
Mike Brewster.
"My father loved baseball so much he had nine kids. When the DH was introduced, my mom left town."
Mike Veeck.
"What offends me about prejudice, is that it assumes a totally unwarranted superiority. For as long as I can remember, I have felt vaguely uneasy when anybody tells me an anti-Negro or anti-Semitic or anti-Catholic joke.
It only takes one leg, you know, to walk away."

I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
On a ri.

holy smoke (pardon the punlike metaphor)
Jared wants wax weepy to talk about the cost of heating homes, so here’s a letter from an out-of-district constituent:
“I wanted to inform the Colorado legislators that due to HB 23-1161, my family has experienced a homeownership nightmare. We were forced to buy an Ultra Low Nox furnace due to our budget and the new CO law that went into effect 1/1/2026. Having to buy an Ultra Low Nox furnace is the worst homeowner experience we have ever had. As I write this, the HVAC company is here for the 3rd time working on correcting our furnace and they honestly told us they may ultimately have to rip it out and reinstall a different furnace. If we have to do that, the entire exhaust piping in our home has to be redone which is at a huge expense to either them or us. I am begging the legislators to give homeowners back their right to purchase equipment that actually functions properly. Here is a basic summary of why these furnaces are horrendous...
Ultra Low Nox furnaces are very temperamental with gas pressure and that is amplified at higher elevation. Most of Colorado is considered high elevation according to the manufacturers as anything over 4500 feet requires modifying the gas pressure at install. If the pressure is too high, they make a horrendous fog horn noise that is jarring and incredibly startling if it happens in the middle of the night. If the gas pressure is too low, the flames flutter and efficiency ratings are out the window, costing the home owner even more in natural gas. Add that temperature fluctuations in the home and due to heating/cooling cycles seem to cause variations in the pressure which can produce the horrendous fog horn even when you think it is tuned out by lowering gas pressure. The parts store our HVAC tech had to purchase parts from said that a lot of HVAC companies in CO are stopping selling these units as they end up causing customers getting jarred from sleep in the middle of the night due to the foghorn sounds they emit intermittently.
With all this being said, I am begging Colorado for the right to buy a furnace that actually works as intended. If you do a simple Google or Youtube search regarding California's Ultra Low Nox furnaces, you will find that most HVAC companies in California now highly discourage installing them due to these ongoing problems. Most CA HVAC companies have quit selling them altogether. I'm so sad that Colorado didn't review the problems in California with these before mandating them for us.
I'm not suggesting the higher efficiency gas furnaces are any better as I don't have experience with them, but I am BEGGING for the right of homeowners to buy something that will actually heat their homes appropriately without fog horn noises or flame flutters making the furnace not perform correctly. I also want to discourage the push for heat pumps as those do not have the ability to properly heat in our cold climate.... add to that we have had multiple Xcel power shut offs for fire mitigation and infrastructure momentary outages so relying on our electrical grid for heat is terrifying. Pushing Coloradan into heat pumps for heat is a recipe for disaster as well. The only fix I have with my limited knowledge of HVAC is go back to letting citizens have a right to pick something tried and true.
Please take this seriously and please retract this horrendous law. You never know when your furnace will go out and then you will be stuck with this atrocity of an appliance.”
