I can be a Jew and abhor Islamophobia. I can support Israel's right to exist and reject Netanyahu's war crimes. I can condemn Hamas for October 7 and feel for Palestinian victims of the war. I can call out Abdul El-Sayed's relationship with Hasan Piker and still plainly see he's a better choice for our country than another Trump yes man enabler getting us into unjust wars and destroying our Democracy.

Per Drop Site (and Grok), the staffer who ran the presser for Rogers and Stevens today “is a registered foreign agent for the state of Israel—one of two foreign agents working on the Rogers campaign”
She’s a subcontractor for Clocktower X, run by former Trump campaign chief Brad Parscale… which has registered as a foreign agent for Israel, taking in millions to push their agenda.
The rest of the media will ignore this.

I don't think it's entirely a coincidence that the Penguins won two games with Koivunen, Hayes, and McGroarty in the lineup and have lost both games with two of the three out.
Youthful energy and legs do make a collective difference and impact a game, especially on the forecheck

"There's a series of institutions that have been created, going back decades actually, that are designed to prevent foreign interference and other interference, and actually the Trump administration [has] pretty systematically dismantled them," said @anneapplebaum.

Often, members of Congress don’t realize that their staffers will carry their names on their resumes for the rest of their careers. Their legacy becomes part of their identities in Washington. I have no doubt that her decision hits them incredibly hard on a personal level.

also huge shoutout to David Roche, the anti-Alberto Salazar, who’s getting American women on world major podiums by making sure they feed their bodies and manage their stress and run healthy

I hope Layla Clark walks into school on Monday like the absolute legend she is.

There’s nothing “gutsy” about endorsing someone you told everyone you were working to defeat up to just a day ago.
Nothing about either candidate has changed. El-Sayed is not worse—and Rogers is not better—than a week ago, a month ago, or a year ago.
It’s either a long con, an intemperate decision, or a disconnect from reality.

Unpopular opinion:
Ukrainians don’t need another speech about how inspiring we are.
We need air defense, electricity and a winter without funerals.

🥇 TWO JOURNEYS. ONE DREAM. A DECADE IN THE MAKING. 🇺🇸
Nearly a decade separates Spencer Lee and Bo Bassett in age.
There was a time when Bo was just a young kid from Western Pennsylvania, looking up to Spencer Lee. An aspiring wrestler admiring someone who represented everything he dreamed of becoming.
Over the years, the wrestling world asked plenty of questions about both.
Could Bo Bassett become the next Spencer Lee?
Could Spencer Lee ever overcome the injuries that had taken so much from him?
And even with some similarities, their paths couldn’t have been much different.
Bo seemingly burst onto the scene destined for greatness, accomplishing extraordinary things at nearly every stop along the way. At just 20 years old, in his first opportunity on the senior world stage, he became a world champion.
Spencer’s journey was different. A generational young talent whose career was repeatedly interrupted by devastating knee injuries. Years of surgeries, rehabilitation, setbacks, and uncertainty. Enough adversity to make even the greatest athletes wonder how much more they could endure.
But he kept going.
And this weekend, at 28 years old, Spencer Lee finally became a senior world champion, too.
Think about that for a moment.
The little boy who once looked up to Spencer Lee, and the man who refused to let his own story end prematurely, reached the same mountaintop on the same weekend.
All those years spent wondering whether Bo would become the next Spencer. All those years wondering whether Spencer could ever become what everyone believed he was meant to be.
And in the end, neither question really mattered.
Bo didn’t have to become the next Spencer Lee.
And Spencer Lee didn’t have to become the wrestler he was before his injuries.
They simply had to keep becoming who they were meant to be.
Two sons of Western Pennsylvania. Two very different journeys. Two world champions.
And one old photograph that suddenly tells a much bigger story.
Sometimes the beauty of wrestling isn’t just in where the journey takes you. It’s in realizing, years later, how those journeys end up connected all along.

It's shady, but it's not illegal (like seizing ballots, for example). Wonder who they learned that trick from? Oh, that's right, Republicans.
Dems finally playing as dirty as Republicans really caught you fuckers off guard.

With Stevens endorsing Rogers over El-Sayed in Michigan. I fully anticipate those "Country over Party" posts praising her for here courage to flood Social Media.
