The ITV undercover footage of Reform councillors is chilling and disgraceful.
We are deeply troubled that a Bromley Reform councillor was involved.
Racism has no place in our borough, in the Council Chamber or in communities across the country.

Cllr @samdwebber asks a question to the new Environment Portfolio Holder at tonight's meeting of @LBofBromley's full Council about the shocking state of the pond in Church House Gardens. We have been requesting works to be done here since 2022.

At the meeting of @LBofBromley's full council on Monday 12th Oct I've requested an update on the Church House Gardens pond.
Look forward to hearing more about discussions with @thameswater, @idverde_Bromley & the local Park Friends group of volunteers.

Tomorrow is polling day in the Holborn & St Pancras by-election.
Good luck to Liberal Democrat candidate Patrick Stillman!

I want to echo this message.
To anyone who joined the Green Party thinking they were supporting an environmentalist cause and are now questioning that choice.
To those whose political foundation is rooted in equality for all, as well as being a proud custodian of our natural world.
To those tired of antisemitism and islamophobia in their party.
You can find your political home in the @LibDems
Come and join the real green party in Britain.
I feel profoundly sad for the Greens that joined a party thinking they were going to be environmentalists and have found themselves surrounded by antisemitism.
I am also appalled at the cowardice displayed by their leader, who chose not to lead, but to hide.
If you’re a Green Party member and your political foundation is rooted in equality for all, as well as being a proud custodian of our natural world, you can find your political home in the Liberal Democrats.

Camden Lib Dem group leader Cllr Tom Simon and parliamentary candidates Patrick Stillman and Katie Mansfield:
'With these votes, the Green Party has crossed a line. The rights to manifest one’s religion and of freedom of association are fundamental human rights, and these are now at risk.
'In the Liberal Democrats, we will continue to speak up for the values of liberty, equality and community. We will continue to call for the bold, urgent action needed to tackle climate change. We will make welcome any real Greens who choose to join us.'
The fallout from Green Party conference in Camden is continuing. The Liberal Democrats had been due to work with the Greens to set up a cross-party climate emergency taskforce - announced at last council meeting. That arrangement looks like it now won’t happen as both Lib Dems and Tories won’t work with Greens after ‘Zionism is racism’ motion was passed.

I am delighted @McLarenAuto are investing £500 million across the UK - including an expansion of their production centre here in #Woking, which will create new jobs and provide great opportunities for local young people.

Continued frustration with @TaylorWimpey & @TaylorWimpeyplc about the state of Conquest House on Elmfield Road, Bromley.
@BromleyLibDems councillors for Bromley Town have received complaints about this site since 2022. Now it's dangerous and unsafe:

I'm working with @LBofBromley officers, @MPSBromleyTown & @MPSBromley to ensure Conquest House is made safe.
Residents have complained about young people breaking into the site. I've seen this myself today.
It's now time for @TaylorWimpey to step up and fully secure their site.
Hi @TfL & @TfLAccess,
If you are able to easily change announcements on tube trains, please update Jubilee line announcements for *Southwark* to say Waterloo East station is closed until Sunday 16 August.
@NetworkRailCHX also closed for same period.

Ann was a political titan.
Im glad I heard her speak in the late 90s at my old school (pager went off mid talk & she switched it off and slung it back in her bag to great effect!).
Met her later at a book signing for 'Strictly Ann'. Condolences to all who knew & loved her. RIP 🙏
Feeling sick that someone could do this to anyone, let alone an old lady who had devoted most of her life to public service.
