When I explain it, many don’t realize how different the #Hive blockchain really is. Back on Steem, I wrote articles and made videos for years. As a newbie, I was unnoticed and unsupported. but I kept going. After the fork, everything changed!
Let’s look at what other platforms charge for unsupported-asset recovery.
Binance charges up to 20 USDT for certain recovery cases, with some taking up to 30 working days. Bybit charges a $200 fee for manual recovery & requires the recoverable assets to be worth more than $500.

This is about that random guy with less than 1k followers who made his first 40$
P2P via spenda and made a mistake and now due to their “policy” he can’t get his money back even if it can be retrieved
I’ve been in crypto for years , I do understand that sending money to the wrong address is suic!dal , but why my case is easier and so is the case for some is this is the same chain on a coin that’s supported globally (just not on spenda)
Note that , even traditional banks that we detest have faster processing times than 7-14 days

Spenda also listens to customer feedback. Previously, there were reports about certain networks and chains that Spenda didn’t support. Over time, those networks were added, and many customers who had recovery issues were able to recover their assets.
Kraken charges $200–$500, depending on the type of recovery.
@MySpenda , on the other hand, charges no recovery fee and provides a 7–14 day recovery window.
Unsupported-asset recovery isn’t always straightforward. It depends on the network, the asset, and the technical infrastructure available. Recovery may not always be possible, even when the funds are visible on the blockchain.
That’s why it’s important to understand the process before concluding that a platform is deliberately withholding your money. Criticism is fair, but it should also acknowledge the technical realities involved.
