homelander’s so funny to me because he really liked butcher and he genuinely thought their rivalry was a game. he couldn’t believe that when given the opportunity butcher would actually kill him.
Season 3 is a prime example that M.M can't leave the super business alone, and to have his ending be remarrying Monique without getting any help or even knowing about Soldier Boy being tubed again makes me 100% sure that he will ruin his family again for this closure
