Present Dyson City! @threejs
In year 2127, humanity created its first Dyson sphere around Alpha Centauri A, a 2 million kilometer diameter structure, and started the "Astro-Industrial Era". On the inner side of this lonely structure is a small city called Dyson City for research purposes. You have been elected to be the lone guardian of this city
You have your own estate on Dyson City, and you've chosen to make it a Victorian style manor. The rest of the city is a 200 acre golden scientific-industrial compound
You have your own vehicle called Aurelia to take you anywhere in this city. A fleet of research spacecrafts come in every 30s for data backup and refueling
Now, you're in charge: dyson.scottsun.io
Can we achieve the economics defined “ideal market” if we use AI agents to do all the selling and all the buying?
A good distinction here, I always call them “open models”, not “open source models”
What the fuck are you even talking about? DeepSeek gave us a thousand times more than anyone else in this industry.
The weights, under MIT. Their production inference engine, under Apache 2.0, this week. Their attention kernels, their MoE communication library, their FP8 matmul library, their own distributed file system. The papers that explain how all of it works. And the component that makes your own deployment behave exactly like their API.
Now tell me what OpenAI and Anthropic gave us.
A $500 a month subscription. Limits that keep shrinking. Usage that drains faster than your plan says, until someone admits it was a bug. Models people swear got nerfed a month after launch. And a wave of account bans where nobody even tells you why.
Not 1 weight from Anthropic. Not 1 line of the code that serves ChatGPT.
Yes, the training data is not public, so call it open weights if you want. I do. But you picked the 1 lab that opened more of its real stack than anyone, and called it a lie.
Are you fucking out of your mind? You're the only one selling lies here.
Serious gamers don’t care about AI or not, they only care about good or bad game. Just make good games
the pelican riding bike svg test is sooo obsolete. next time try asking the model to draw a 3d pelican riding bike using 3d Fourier transform
Claude $20 sub is literally better value than codex $100 sub, and on top of that opus 5.5 is overall much better than Astra and faster
It’s so over for codex, generational fumble
🚨 Claude $20 vs Codex $100 Usage
After 3 weeks of tracking telemetry, one user found Claude’s cheaper plan surprisingly competitive.
Estimated monthly usage:
- Opus 5.5: ~2.5B tokens
- GPT-6 Astra: ~1.1B tokens
- GPT-6.1 Sol: ~3.2B tokens
Claude is also reportedly much faster. OpenAI has some catching up to do.
I wonder who’s the poor guy using php didn’t check the news today
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
Inside AI bubble, devs don’t even read code anymore, large refactoring done in a couple of days, dozens of agents running in cloud 24/7 doing shit for you
Outside AI bubble, 43% websites run on Wordpress
I getting a feeling that OpenAI and Anthropic soon will ditch customers completely, just use their models 100% internally and go all in on frontier science and engineering research
Like eg if they actually solve quantum gravity or cure cancer, and own the right to license the solution, can you imagine the ROI behind that? No more listening to users bitching about usage or model nerf or whatever

Next gen GLMs are targeting 2.5T-3.5T parameters 👀
ZAI compute I think has largely moved to domestic chips, and they can apparently handle that scale of training and wide inference availability
🚨重磅爆料!GLM-5.4/5.5专家纪要流出:智谱下一代基座直接干到2.5-3.5T!还要Day1大规模供得上!有望比肩Claude Fable 5.1!

gpt-image-2.5 is the only thing I still use that is OpenAI
Drawing a 3D @elonmusk with 3D Fourier drawing, similar to Fourier Series Epicycles but for 3d, using 20 million coefficients
