It’s bizarre how people treat Aiden as the "fandom’s pet twink," even though he’s one of the characters who receives the most hate within the fandom—including from people who work on the show itself. And it’s bizarre that 90% of the mass hate he faces involves some form of transphobia—specifically the erasure of his gender identity, stemming from the fact that he’s an emotional character. Aiden isn’t some "fandom-favorite twink"... he’s a character who experiences transphobia, primarily through the erasure of his gender and the assumption that trans men can’t be emotional—based on the idea that "men aren’t emotional and can’t show their feelings." This fandom is transphobic, and they aren’t even hiding it anymore!
